Collin Morrice took #1 spot in this session and Arlo Reddick moved into the top five at #2. Junior Drag Bike qualifying top five after session 3:
Scott Collier took over #1 spot in this session and Dan Baldwin moved into #3. Pro ET qualifying top five after session 4:
Rich Davies consolidated #1 spot with another superb pass, a squeak from taking the Eurodragster.com/LA Racing Parts Perfect ET Award. John Atkinson moved back into the top five. VW Pro qualifying after session 4:
Only Nigel Green turned out for this session, he improved against dial-in and moved up to third. Super Pro ET qualifying top five after session 4:

A tremendous pass from Steve Woollatt, straight as you like, consolidated his #1 spot. Steve Carey sat this session out. Super Gas qualifying top five after session 3:
Conrad Stanley and Brian Pateman into the 9.9s, taking #2 and #3 at that point. Spencer Tramm moved into the top five in this session, but then Cliff Puddle improved again and bumped him down to sixth. Supertwin Fuel qualifying after session 2:

Congratulations to Steve Venables who backed up his 195.24 with a pass of 194.75 in this session. Rich Stubbins moved into third place, the third racer in the sevens today. Pro Stock Bike qualifying top five after session 3:
Dave Beck consolidated his #1 spot with a superb 7.2-second pass, as soon as the bike hooked up and went you could tell it was a good one. Ray Debben is having a mare today, not having got to the finish line in any session but there will be more qualifying tomorrow. Super Modified qualifying after session 3:

Sarah Howells took over #1 spot in this session, husband Darryl in the other lane got a grandstand view! Sid Slattery moved into #2 spot and Helen Smythe and Phil Sweeney also moved into the top five. Super Street qualifying after session 3:
Leigh Morris took over #1 spot in this session and John Grant moved up to #3. Super Comp qualifying top five after session 3:
Shaun Lathan moved up to #4 spot in this session. 17:05 Roger Goring followed Sportsman ET session 3 with a storming 6.285/252.27 in the Firestorm Jet Funny Car. Before the run Roger told us that this would be a checkout pass, it was one of those Maltese checkout passes where you stay on it to the finish line! 17:00 9.50 Bike qualifying top five after session 3:
Andy Burfitt moved into #5 spot in this session. VW Sportsman qualifying top five after session 3:
A big improvement from Robert Austwick consolidated his #1 spot, and an improvement from Chris Bray moved him up to #2. Paul Day leapfrogged Abi Tether to move into #5 spot. VW Alternate Engine qualifying top five after session 3:
Joe Williams improved but stayed in third place. Sportsman ET qualifying top five after session 3:

TJ O'Brien, John Roberts and Vaughan Foster got into the qualifying field in this session, TJ into number two. Roland Chaplain is riding the Think Pink bike this weekend, we'll send Simon on a mission to find out the story later on, in the meantime Roland moved into the top five with his first pass which was by no means straight so there's more to come there. Chris Hall took #1 spot after running a 7.3 out of session earlier. There was a lot of smoke from Tim Blakemore's bike towards the top end but nothing was found on the track. Top Fuel Bike qualifying after session 2:
Steve Woollatt appeared to lose drive off the start line, the engine note went up but the bike was not moving forward, he got off the throttle and idled down the track. Steve Carey's rear tyre started to spin off the line, Steve got off the throttle then back on again and improved his ET even with the spin. Junior Dragster qualifying top five after session 2:
Jay Hauser took the lead in this session, Nick Mugridge moved into the top five with an identical RT to Tom Watts. Matt Seamarks then moved into #4 and bumped Nick out of the top five. Junior Drag Bike qualifying top five after session 2:
Harry Steadman moved up to fourth in this session, no other changes. Super Street Bike qualifying top five after session 2:

Frank Mason improved and held on to his #1 spot. Making a welcome return in this session were Steve Dunn and Jon Evans, Steve making the first outing in the ex-Mike Sergeant Super Mod Camaro. Super Modified qualifying after session 2:
Kev Perkins backed up his earlier 179.83 with a 178.59 in this session, so according to our records that's a new speed record for Kev, well done Kev! Trackside conditions are 20.1 C, 59% humidity and 29.91 inches of air. 15:25 Outlaw Anglia qualifying top five after session 2:
A straighter - but not straight - run from Mark Pointer improved his ET. Same story for Paul Wright, not by any means a straight pass but improved and took over #1. Pete Moore turned hard right off the start line, just missed the guardrail, pulled it straight and carried on. Unbeknown to Pete, his van was dropping oil and he oiled the entire length of the track. After the clean-up Paul Hensher took #1 spot from Paul with a superb, straight pass. Supertwin Gas qualifying top five after session 2:
Another new PB for Ric Naylor, well done Ric! Improvements for George Laycock and Les Harris but they stayed where they were whilst Don Irvine moved into #5 spot. Supertwin Fuel qualifying after session 1:
Chris feathered the throttle a couple of times on his pass. 14:00 Super Street qualifying after session 2:

Paul Knight took over the lead in this session whilst Brian Pateman moved up to second with a big improvement and Andy Williams took fourth with a run on the proper side of the index. Street Eliminator qualifying top five after session 2:
Ray Comer improved but stayed in place until Andy Frost took second place and bumped him down one. Colin Lazenby ran 181.52 mph in this session which will be a new speed record if he can back it up, to add to his Championship! Matt Attwood took over the lead in this session and Spencer Tramm moved into second. Sportsman ET qualifying top five after session 2:
Keith Crampton took over the lead with his pass but then Tanya took it straight back in the next pairing. Paul Bishop moved into third place. Jonathan McGarrigle improved but Paul bumped him down to fourth. Wild Bunch qualifying top five after session 2:
Sarah Howells moved into fourth spot and bumped husband Darryl down to fifth at that point, then Neil Ward moved into the top five and bumped Darryl to sixth. Alec Coe broke out big time but blasted his personal best with an 8.528 on an 8.70 dial-in - that was with a feather of the throttle so there is more to come from the beautiful B+J-built slingshot. 13:20 VW Sportsman qualifying top five after session 2:
Robert Austwick took over the lead in this session whilst Matt Dolby improved - he was #1 after his run but was then bumped down a spot by Robert. 13:20 Junior Dragster qualifying top five after session 1:
Joe Kellett and Anna Stanley are the subjects of a documentary for BBC Childrens' TV, Joe's car was carrying an on-board camera in this session whilst Anna chose a good moment to take number one spot at that point with the TV crew watching! The top eight qualifiers are separated by 0.076! VW Pro qualifying after session 2:
Martin Taylor took number one spot and came as close as you can get to taking the Eurodragster.com/LA Racing Parts Perfect ET Award without actually winning it, whilst Paul Hamilton pulled a huge wheelie which came down very close to the guardrail - Paul calmly straightened up the car then got back on the throttle. A great qualifying duel as John Everitt went into #2 spot at +0.008 over, the same as Rick Cooke, but just to make sure of it Rick Cooke improved to +0.002 in the very next pairing to hang on to his #1 place. Pat Talbot moved into the top five whilst Ian Hook improved but stayed in third after John bumped him down one. 12:55 Junior Drag Bike qualifying top five after session 1:

Big changes in the top five in this session, Carl Burton taking over the lead and John Atkinson moving up whilst Lee Huxley and Clive Cox moved into the top five. The top eleven qualifiers are separated by 0.078! 12:35 Supertwin Modified qualifying top five after session 2:

A big improvement from Rachael Prevett moved her into second spot at that point, then Ian Radanke improved and bumped her to third. Neil Dickson improved his ET, and an improvement from Pete Harrison left him where he was. Super Gas qualifying top five after session 1:

Mark Pointer's run was far from straight, it looked like the van was trying to write its name on the track surface, the car was really on one so there is much more left in there. Paul Wright's run was very entertaining for us, pulling the wheels up and heading for the guardrail with each stab of the throttle, Paul probably found it a bit less entertaining! Paul Hensher's car ran without rear wheel fenders. Super Modified qualifying after session 1:

Alan Young took over the lead and Andy Bird moved into fourth in this session. Top Fuel Bike qualifying after session 1:
A nice strong pass from Steve Woollatt, the bike really accelerating hard towards the top end and then Steve got off it at about 1100 feet. Steve Carey's rear tyre spun up, he got off the throttle then back on and blackstriped the rest of the track. 11:55 Pro Stock Bike qualifying after session 1:
