Still raining and even if it stopped now there would be no prospect of getting the track ready to race so the Race Director has called the event.

Stay tuned as we still have today's gallery to bring you in a couple of hours.

14:40

Still raining here at Shakespeare County Raceway. Race officials will make a decision at 15:00.

13:50

We now have a wet track and racers have been sent back to the pits.

We are stopping the webcast until the rain stops; no point in wasting our limited data allowance to broadcast unchanging shots of a wet track. We will of course re-start in good time when racing recommences.

Good morning and welcome from Shakespeare County Raceway for our coverage of the APIRA Springspeed Nationals brought to you in association with John Woolfe Racing.

The Webster Race Engineering / Nimbus Motorsport webcam will be on-line broadcasting live video and commentary / ShakeySounds audio so long as the track is open. Thanks to Doyousee.me for the provision of streaming services. The webcast will commence as soon as the first classes appear in the pairing lanes. So far this weekend we have had 7,557 viewers of a webcam which, let's not forget, was this time last week being decried as useless.

For the third day in a row it's another very pleasant morning here at Shakespeare County Raceway, sun and high cloud and mild.

The traditional Raceday Good Morning to our US Correspondent Kathy Hileman of Rye, NH who is tuned in from Canterbury, UK. Enjoy the pilgrimage Kathy and we'll see you soon. Hello also to all of the Eurodragsterholics and thanks for the continued support.

The plan today is again for live race reports and a gallery at the end of the day. As we are doing manual reporting we will be listing the winners in each pair. Eliminations are due to commence with Pro ET at 10:00 so stay tuned and as soon as the wheels start to turn we'll bring you the news.
