Billy Gane is out for the rest of the weekend after a backfire yesterday of the engine in his VX4/90 blew a hole in his air scoop. Tom Atkinson moved into the lead and is the closest yet to the Eurodragster.com/Gold RV Perfect ET award which is £75 this weekend. Brad Jackson also moved up to no.4 in the NG Motorsport entry. It's another nice day here at Shakey with light cloud and sun. Today's running order begins at 10am with the eight classes still to complete their fourth qualifying session, starting with a complete session of Super Pro ET (yesterday's incomplete session was scratched), and then into fifth and sixth planned sessions. Stay tuned and as soon as the wheels start to turn we will bring you the news.

Best wishes to track marshal Angie Woods who suffered a broken leg in an incident in the fire-up lane yesterday and is in hospital recovering. Also best wishes to Wendy Llewellyn, for whom a number of cars were sporting get well soon messages.
