Drama as Wild Bunch racer Adam Price had a wild ride which he controlled well until the car's tyre tagged the left hand guardrail and the altered came to a halt on track. Adz is perfectly ok, remained in the car and needed no medical attention.

After eliminations, Joe Elliott ran a practice pass of 9.325/145.27 on his Supertwin Gas bike and Liam Jones ran a checkout of 8.745/117.80 in his Bomber Racing dragster.
