Shut off almost immediately upon starting and quick work on the motor but whatever the problem was, it was obscured from where I was sitting. Good morning and welcome from Shakespeare County Raceway for our coverage of the Springspeed Nationals brought to you in association with Alamo Rent-A-Car.

The Webster Race Engineering/Numbus Motorsport webcam is on-line and broadcasting a picture every sixty seconds.

Overcast but dry here at SCR, pairing lanes are full and we're ready to go.

The traditional Raceday hello to our US Correspondents Ed O'Connell and Kathy Hileman who are tuned in from Rye, NH. Hope you are enjoying the coverage, guys, and we're counting the days.

We start with the rest of qualifying cycle 3 - Super Street Bike, Super Street, Sportsman ET, Super Gas and Wild Bunch - and then go into eliminations.

Stay tuned and when the wheels start to turn we'll bring you the news.
