We have now posted a gallery with more shots from yesterday. You can check out the pictures from the Event Index page.

Tune back tomorrow and we'll bring you all the news from eliminations.

16:45

It has started to rain again so with a curfew of 5:00 pm we have been called for the day. A big Thumbs Up to the track crew who did not stop all day trying to fight the elements. They got the track dried a number of times only for the rain to come back each time.

The qualifying standings we posted yesterday are now the final standings as we will not have time for any more qualifying tomorrow. The forecast for tomorrow's eliminations is much better.

Roger is going to put together a gallery of some more shots from yesterday so stay tuned for those.

15:45

Simon has posted his latest set of pit notes, which you can view via the Event Index page.

15:30

We've had a couple of instances of dry / rain / dry / rain and then the jet dryer slid backwards into the guardrail which didn't help things, but it's looking promising now so hopefully we'll be able at least to finish yesterday's interrupted third cycle of qualifying. Stay tuned and keep an eye on the webcam and as soon as wheels start to turn then we'll let you know.

13:00

The track almost dry, it started to rain again. Stay tuned.

12:00

Track drying is continuing apace, we're not far off starting. Stay tuned.

9:50

Good morning and welcome from Shakespeare County Raceway. It's day two of the Springspeed Festival and we're here to bring you all the news in association with American Car Imports.

The Webster Race Engineering/MPM Oil webcam is on-line and is posting a picture every sixty seconds; you can get to the webcam via the Event Index page.

Right now it is, unfortunately, raining. The rain came in about half an hour ago. It's only light so if we can persuade it to stop then the track should dry out pretty quickly. Qualifying was due to start with Super Street Bike at 10:30, I am guessing that won't be happening but stay tuned and as soon as there is anything to tell you we'll be right here.
