Jason Weir set new Personal Bests and made his first Real Steel Street Eliminator final.

Alas, a minute or so later one of the rods in Andy Chilton's Super Modified engine was laying smoking on the track.

Phil Leamon was runner-up in Comp Bike.

Paul Mander's Plymouth Arrow Super Mod was carrying the front left wheel for a few hundred feet on each run.

Stu Chamberlain's consistency took the win in Funny Bike.

The shiny new injector on the Giles and Hartley Super Pro ET dragster doubtless helped Barry Giles to the event win.

Dave Catton was runner-up in Super Gas, helping to redeem Paul Marston Racing's weekend after Grumpy's Dodge put a rod out.

It was a Battle of the Breakouts in the Super Street final and Martyn Sanger was the worst offender.

Ray Debben's very tidy ZX12R was a first-round casualty in Pro Stock Bike.

Dan Page was racing in Pro ET as well as calling the shots on Jon Morton's Super Comp/Super Gas Camaro.

Darryl Howells got to round three of the Wild Bunch.

Paul Herbert had another good weekend in VW Sportsman taking the event win.

Anna Stanley took the Junior Dragster win in a family double with Super Gas racer and dad Conrad.

Lane sponsor Motorshack will have been pleased with Paul Knight's Super Comp win.

Frank Bennett took a worthy event victory in NFAA which was heading for a Last Man Standing scenario.

Tony Betts blasted a 6.473 in the Venom Fuel Altered in NFAA qualifying.

Jon Turner's Barracuda broke so he substituted this very pretty pick-up in Sportsman ET.

Paul Wright was the class of the Outlaw Anglia field but did not show for the final.

Steve Carey was runner-up to Steve Woollatt in Top Fuel Bike and his bike went a lot straighter in the final.

Gary Bowe had a good weekend in Super Street Bike making it all the way to the final.

Scott Collier made the most of his head start in the Junior Drag Bike final but Tyler Clutterbuck took the trophy.

John Hackney had to wait more than five and a half seconds before chasing down Dan Baldwin and winning Supertwin ET.

Chris Stebbings' Destroyer took the Supertwin Gas title from #1 qualifier, Beardy Bloke Les Harris.

Jon Parker has changed Mustang models and took his first Sportsman ET event win.

Julian Harris aka Fast Harry was 9.50 Bike runner-up on a bike borrowed from Phil Pratt.

Frank Hoffmann's trip from Germany was worthwhile as he took the Outlaw Flat Four event win on his first weekend racing this Beetle.
