Good morning and welcome to coverage of day 3 of the NSRA Nostalgia Nationals from Santa Pod Raceway. The weather currently is wet and temperatures 11C forecast to rise to 15C. Although it has been raining for quite some time overnight, the radar shows the band of rain moving northwards and conditions clearing from around 10am. We will get back to you with news of track drying and start time later.

Yesterday despite a rain delay we were able to have three sessions of qualifying for invited classes, and the first round of eliminations for UK Nostalgia Superstock. There were some more personal bests but we were sorry to see Andy 'Fadster Hadfield with a broken crankshaft and Matt Seamarks with a broken pushrod on a freshly built engine. Also nitro Daimler dragster racer Robin Read suffered an engine explosion on a match race with Colin Millar, Colin coming out on top with a great 7.048/196.41, the fastest speed ever recorded for an Outlaw Anglia and a new track record.

Greetings to Eurodragsterholics everywhere and thanks for following the coverage so far. You can see our galleries from Julian and Diana for Friday and Saturday from the Event Index. Happy Birthday for today to Junior Drag Bike racer Hollie King and Super Twin Top Fuel Bike racer Martijn de Haas, we hope you both have a great day.

In the meantime we will wait for more news about today, stay tuned.
