No show for Michel Tooren against Kev Slyfield who made a full run for lane choice, 6.0442/232.86, 1.0045 to 60ft and 3.967/183 to half track. Commiserations to Michel's crew who had oil supply issues causing burnt pistons, Kev's had their own issues with a replacement cam shaft causing the team to change the cylinder firing order.
Jean Dulamon 6.0191/236 def. Wayne Nicholson 6.184/230.50, great race, even off the start and straight down the track, 1.0342 and 3.9668/192.55 for Jean, 1.0042 and 4.0487/184.89 for Wayne.
Nick Davies 6.4223/241 def. Jon Webster 7.103/150 Jon into full stage first and then backed out, Nick off first and had tyre shake to get behind until after the eighth when he went quicker in the second half. Incrementals 1.0869 and 4.3784/187.85 for Nick, 1.0890 and 4.3049/167.14 for Jon.

Dave Russell a no-show, with starter motor damage, against #1 qualifier Joe Kellett who pulled a 0.006 red, the Perfect Light Bonus Award of £50 available today. No Dave Evans against Billy Gane, Kirstie reported engine damage had been suffered in qualifying.

Good morning and welcome to the second day of our coverage of the 2021 STP UK National Finals from Santa Pod Raceway. It's a slightly misty morning with temperature of 14C forecast to rise to 20C with headwinds of about 13mph.
We had three qualifying sessions yesterday and today will decide the SPRC National and Club Championships. Already confirmed as champions are Leah Kellett (Super Comp), Andy Bond (Street Eliminator), Stuart Crane (Funny Bike), Louis Davies (Comp Bike), Steve Venables (Super Street Bike) and Phil Pratt (ET Bike).
A very Happy Birthday from all of us to SPRC Secretary and Chief Starter Ian Marshall, have a great day Ian. Also it's Dutch SUpercharged Outlaws racer Kirsten van Croonenborgh's birthday and ET Bike racer Matt Jones, we hope you all enjoy your special day.
