Bobby Wallace 6.5142/224.50 bye, Wayne Nicholson no show
Wayne elected to sit this one out to save the motor for next season. Bobby hit shake at the hit and the Coupe
moved right, 1.0678 to sixty, a couple of pedals then the tyres hooked up and Bobby was hard on the gas.

Shake for Nick, 1.0460 to sixty, Jean to sixty in 1.0344, Nick had started to hit shake passing the Tree and then smoke
from both sides and shut off... thankfully as it turned out. Jean's Camaro hooked left and he drove through the 330 foot
marker under power, tried to pull it back under power and knocked both eighth-mile reflectors to kingdom come, the sponges - what
was left of them - ended up in front of Nick as did Jean's Camaro. Jean gave up trying to pull it back into his own lane and
went through the finish line in Nick's lane.

Good morning and welcome to our coverage of the STP UK National Finals brought to you in association with
John Woolfe Racing.
We had a heavy rain shower about an hour ago but the track crew are already on the case, the top layer of water has been swept and all
of the other kit is being limbered up.
The plan for today is the usual real-time reports and results and a gallery at the end of the day; no pit notes today as Simon will
will be working on the Championships and will give us updates in real time. Santa Pod Raceway are providing today's Web TV and you can
find links to both YouTube and Facebook versions of the stream on the Event Index. As it is not our webcast we will not be entertaining
queries or comments.
The traditional raceday Good Morning to our US Correspondent Kathy Hileman who is tuned in from New Hampshire, hope that you are
having a great weekend Kathy. A big Good Morning to the Eurodragsterholics, with a special wave to Kai Plathan and the boys in Vehkataipale,
Finland, to Ivar Kolberg in Norway, to Benni Voss in Germany, and a hello and Thank You to Bob Roberts here in Blighty. Because of the workload

The Charity Football Match between racers and SPR/SPRC staff took place last night and the racers won 5-2. Nikki Marshall kindly stepped up
to the plate to take pictures as we lost both of our photogs due to emergencies elsewhere; you can check out the pictures via the Event Index.
