Martin Hallett and Alan Morrison followed in a 9.50 bike v 8.50 Bike match, 9.5910/141.58 to 8.5692/158.01 respectively. Next up Alex Hope on his Super Street Bike alongside Louis davies on his Comp Bike. Storming 1.1413 sixty for Lous but bike heading left and off the gas. Alex to sixty in 1.3128 but off the gas and idled through 11.3995/70.68.

9.50 Bike v Funny Bike next, Brett Cordelle and Kev Osman. 9.5261/144.76 for Brtett, whatever ailed the bike earlier sorted, gutsy ride by Kev as the bike headed for the centre line then fishtailed, 8.0869/185.08. Leo Lester and Mark Hope followed, Leo on the 8.50 Bike with an 8.5993/166.68 and Mark on the Super Street Bike with a 7.3387/198.01.

Thomas Joswig v Dave Peters next in a Funny Bike match, Dave off the gas before the eighth with the motor groaning, 11.5287/71.05, Thomas got a bit further but the motor didn't sound right 8.6306/158.48. Garry Boew next on his Super Street Bike, 1.2444 to sixty and 7.1393/198.12 at the stripe, visibly accelerating hard at mid-track. Dave Fulton and Simon Fulton followed in a Super Gas match, again Simon's Falcon made a move at half track and he shut off, 12.9380/73.25, Dave long gone 9.8491/148.08. Track checked where Simon's car stepped left and tractor called to sled.

Next pass for Lloyd Perkins in Kev Perkins' Comp Eliminator Olds didn't go quite as well, shake and made a move right off the line, looked like it wanted the wall but Lloyd off the gas and pulled it back, 15.1767/52.89.

Ronnie Mercer followed in Outlaw Anglia/Pro ET Pop, 10.8110/125.10. Carl Goldsmith followed in his VW Pro Golf, again a brief burnout by Carl's standards. Bogged at the hit, haze in the second half then smoke right on the stripe 13.5651/115.24, smoke continued down the shutdown area. Chris Schreier of the start line crew straight on the moped to check out the track. Reported in OK at 1000 feet, went to the finish line and called the tractor to sled the second half.

Second pass of the day for Pro Mod racer Marck Harteveld. 0.9843 to sixty with shake, headed left and got off the gas just before he got to the centre line, pulled it back, 10.7024/77.63.

Kev Slyfield followed in his Pro Mod. 1.0268 to sixty, drove through shake all the way to 300 feet, 3.9875/187.98 at the eighth, stayed with it as the car drifted towards the guardrail some, 6.0672/230.11.

Valentijn Sandtke and Daniel Donat Lencses in a Comp Bike v Super Street Bike match, 8.1331/177.13 early shut off for Valentijn, 7.4514/179.92 slightly early shut-off for Daniel. Check of the track in Daniel's lane, Meggie Talbot held with her Junior Drag Bike for the check then in a repeat of her earlier brace of runs stopped a few feet off the line. Two goes and pushed back.

Gary Hester followed on his ET Bike, 10.6499/125.26. Next pass for Thorsten Appel on the Supertwi Top Gas bike an 11.6594/79.26, lost fire on the way to stage but quickly sorted. Licencing pass for Mona, about whom the crew have lips mostly buttoned save that she prefers to be known as "The Girl"; we have been specifically requested not to use her surname. Licencing in Liam Jones' Top Fuel Dragster, a drive lined up next year I'm told. Blip for a burnout then a while to get reverse but made it back. Motor tried to lean out in stage, car owner Rune Fjeld leaned in and did his magic then the motor picked up. Hit the gas but sounded like the throttle stop was still on, idled through, 12.6693/61.10.

Latest licence pass for Gary Carr in the Vauxhall Super Gasser went by the book, on the gas to the eighth then chute out, 10.5442/78.42. There was something on the track right near the finish line, rubbish blown on to the track I think, Gary deftly steered round it.

Daniel Donat Lencses next on his Super Street Bike, 1.2025 to sixty, engine note betrayed a turning tyre, sounded like a misfire in the second half, feather of the throttle and eventually off the gas 9.0810/94.45. Third run of the day for Gary Hester on his ET Bike a 13.4762/78.54, sounded to have problems getting a gar about 200 feet out.

Comp Bike match-up between Valentijn Sandtke and Louis Davies, Valenitjn's tyre spun up, 12.5362/101.26, Louis there in 7.7498/171.65. Kars van den Belt followed on his Funny Bike, tyre spun the shook but still 7.53788/175.77.

Good launch for Outlaw Flat Four racer Danny Pike but then lost drive or shut off and idled through, 20.0725/52.76. Fellow OFF racer Darren Shephard followed, alongside Pro ET racer Nic Williams, Nic there in 10.0013/129.52 to Darren's 13.8602/103.35. Gary Carr followed with another observed run in the Vauxhall Super Gasser, scheduled for eighth and chute, got to the eighth and off the gas, as you will have seen from the webcam I am looking in to strong sunlight here but what I saw from here was the drogue chute come out and dangle out of the pack, either way 10.8780/80.54.

Whatever ailed Lloyd Perkins sorted, 7.7731/175.02 in the Comp Eliminator Olds. That included driving through shake and wasn't in a straight line, engine note betrayed bouncing too, so more to come. Also for Comp Eliminator another short burnout for Robin Orthodoxou but a good pass, 7.1313/189.67, close to the guardrail in the second half.

Latest run for VW Pro racer Paul Bargate a 12.8778/108.82. Next in that lane was Ian Clark, good launch but then hesitated, 13.4845/114.63.

Kev Slyfield fired up the motor of his Pro Mod but stopped within a few seconds, I am no expert but sounded to me as if a plug lead was in the wrong hole somewhere. Quickly sorted and fired up again. 1.0429 to sixty, 4.0313/175.59 at the eighth, off the gas and chutes out, 7.0626/117.77 at the stripe.

First after the clean-up was Purdie Hadfield in her Junior Modified Advanced Dragster, 8.1853/80.64.

Garry Bowe followed on his Super Street Bike, 1.2423 to sixty and 7.1702/198.13 at the stripe. SC703 next, up against fellow 8.50 Bike racer Ian Chrichlow. Ian with a great 8.5020/159.06, in the other lane blackstriping then a left turn and the bike slid out from under the rider, depositing him on the track next to the Tree. He did the clever thing and remained where he was until the medics got to him. He was able to walk to the ambulance and was taken to the Medical Centre to be checked out.

Quick sled of the left lane before Alan Morrison Jr put in his second run of the day on his 9.50 Bike, meanwhile finishing touches were being applied to the right lane. Alan with a 9.4966/144.80 and that was taking it relatively easy for the first hundred feet.

Louis Davies next on his Comp Bike, Louis already the 2019 Champion so congratulations to him. Motor cut out at the first go at the burnout, then sounded reluctant to stay lit but it all cleared in the burnout and the motor sounded very crisp. Shut it off in stage, though, and pushed it back.

Next run for 9.50 Bike racer Martin Hallett a 9.4888/142.93.

Bob Doyle next round the corner in his Super Pro ET Datsun. Slightly wayward launch, swaying left and right in the first eighth, 9.1040/144.74.

First outing of the day for Sportsman ET racer Gill Medley, 12.2205/110.97 from the big Jeep. Next round the corner Darren Shephard in his Outlaw Flat Four Beetle, 11.4294/116.11.

Ian Chrichlow and Leo Lester followed with an 8.50 Bike pair, 8.5198/157.93 for Chrich and 8.6086/166.70 for Leo, 0.1431 between them at the stripe. First run of the day for Kevin Osman on his Funny Bike, slight drift left off the line but straightened it out, 8.0816/183.61, big speed for the ET.

Outlaw Anglia/Pro ET v Sportsman ET next, Ronnie Mercer with halfshaft fixed and Debbie Taylor in the Mustang. 10.7573/126.14 for Ronnie visibly and understandably taking it easy, 13.2577/105.16 for Debbie.

First run of the day for VW Pro racer Paul Jackson in the Lupo. Skirted the bleach box then 12.6668/116.09 with the tyres squeaking all the way.

Single lane running ensued after a BMW put down fluid nasty enough to necessitate a scrape of the right lane.

Nice wheelie for Outlaw Flat Four racer Danny Pike, a move right and a feather but still 10.3119/117.61. Gary Carr in the pairing lanes with his recently-acquired Vauxhall Super Gasser but looked like problems firing up, was pushed to one side to clear the lane.

First run of the day for Comp Bike 833, I feel I should know who that is although I can't find the number, 8.2777/182.88 with a black haze from the right side of the motor.

Next run for Paul Jackson in the VW Pro Lupo a 12.5057/112.10. Ian Clark next round the corner for a second run in his Outlaw Flat Four Beetle, didn't make it out of the bleach box, pushed back.

Collin Morrice followed in his Super Gas/Super Comp Camaro. 9.0324/149.07 a good baseline for the rest of the day.

First run of the day for Paul Adams on his ET Bike an 8.8748/149.55. Alan Morrison next with his first run of the day on his 8.50 Bike, 8.6810/159.60. Staying with 8.50 Bike Ross Morrison was next with an 8.4111/159.60. A couple of 9.50 Bikes followed, Martin Hallett with a 9.5619/138.12 and Alan Morrison Jr at 9.6666/141.14.

First outing today for Simon Fulton in the Falcon Super gasser, 10.0061/143.87.

TAZ001 very quickly back for another shot at it. Much straighter launch, on tha gas all the way this time, 10.1178/133.62.

First run of the day for Ian Chrichlow on his 8.50 Bike, 8.5362/157.98 very nice off the trailer.

Another member of Taz Racing followed, Firebird TAZ014. Blackstriped for the first hundred feet or so but still 10.1684/129.40. Second run of the day for Clive Dandridge in his Mustang, 12.5906/108.43.

First run of the day for Michael Gooding who has already clinched this year's ACU Super Twin Top Gas Championship, congratulations Michael! 9.8411/127.74, a puff of smoke at the stripe, track checked and all OK.

First run of the day for Sportsman ET and Nostalgia Super Stock racer Clive Dandridge who ran PBs at Clastres last weekend, opened his account with a 12.7541/107.77.

TAZ005, aka The Rat, a couple of pairs later. Unusually restrained burnout but a nice 12.5115/120.78. George Scanlon followed in his Street Eliminator pick-up, 11.0221/122.89. TAZ001 next, again a short burnout, wheelie then a right turn, not far off the wall, calmly pulled it straight and back to the middle of the lane, shut it off early 13.5292/83.95.

One of the one-day entrants is a Mercedes, race number Z55, started to get a fishtail on in the second half and was really moving about the lane on the stripe, 11.4153/117.17.

First identifiable racer of the day was Outlaw Flat Four racer Phil West. Brief burnout then no drive at the hit, tried the throttle a few times but nothing. Reversed behind the line and gave it another go, same result and pushed back. Fellow Outlaw Flat Four racer Ian Clark inthe next pair, hop and a skip off the line then 12.1590/115.22.

Good morning and welcome to our coverage of the All Torque Test Day brought to you in association with John Woolfe Racing.

It's a beautiful day here at Santa Pod Raceway. Sunny and mild, can't see a cloud anywhere, the most gentle of breezes.

The plan for today is a live report throughout the day and an end-day gallery courtesy of Julian. The Webster Race Engineering/Nimbus Motorsport webcam will be on-line broadcasting live video and trackside audio so long as the track is open. If you use Google Chrome then dependent upon version you may find that you won't be able to use the Flash version of the live stream; if so then try the HTML5 button, or use Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or Firefox. Due to GDPR we don't have an entry list for today so let's see who comes around the corner. There are a lot of one-dayers here, we will identify those we can but apologies to those whom we don't know.
