away, then the tyre started to shake and blackstripe then the engine note. Optical illusion but from here it looked like
the bike stopped dead, Steve off the gas. 4.5952/165.36 to the eighth for Allan, took the long way round so a straight
pass and he could be on for the six.

Very long burndown between Dave Smith and Robin Orthodoxou, Robin cracked first, Chief Starter
Ian Marshall then waited an extra beat before running the Tree. On the green Robin's car didn't
move and he was pushed back.

hard left, Paul off the gas and pulled it straight and gently sideswiped the guardrail about
200 feet out. Safety crews moved instantly but Paul A-OK and the crews quickly went back on
station. I would imagine maybe flattened headers and a scrape on the paintwork.

Good morning from Santa Pod Raceway for our coverage of the Springspeed Nationals brought
to you in association with John Woolfe Racing.
This morning we have high cloud with small patches of blue sky, still a crosswind but less fierce than
yesterday.
Today's plan is for a real-time reports and results throughout the day, pit notes updated throughout the day, and then a gallery
at the end of the day. Julian is away at a VW event this weekend so Callum has stepped in to photograph for the weekend, welcome and
thanks to him. Your Reporter is commentating as well as writing the race report so some of the reportage may be less detailed than
usual but he will do his best.
No webcast from us this weekend, Santa Pod Raceway are streaming the event on YouTube Live and Facebook; you can find a
link to the YouTube on the Event Index. Please note that the YouTube page will not, of course, show the live broadcast until
it commences. In the same way that we would not expect Santa Pod to entertain queries
or comments about our own webcasts, we won't respond to queries or comments about SPR's webcast. Those who queried or commented
yesterday please note.
Today's running order remains as it was, with the exception of an additional qualifying session for Secret Worx Comp Eliminator.
Those few classes which had qualifying sessions scheduled for this morning will still have them but all other classes are into
eliminations, first up will be Modurstang Pro ET.
The traditional raceday Good Morning to our US Correspondent Kathy Hileman who is tuned in from New Hampshire. Hope your weekend
