2.1456 to 330 feet for Anota, Liam there in 2.3582 still shaking then his tyres hourglassed. Anota to the eighth in 3.0511/276.81, smoke
from her motor, Liam through the eighth decelerating 3.6060/184.77. The smoke from Anita's motor got thicker then the motor hesitated, there was
a fire on the right side of the motor and the car made a move to the right. The motor was on fire all the way down the shutdown area, the car disappeared
into a trail of smoke as the safety crews mobilised.

one pipe, front went down and Al got off the gas, a brief stab of the throttle then off it altogether, got there first by 1.4177.
Glenn cleaned Rikard's clock at the Tree 0.0774 to 0.2324, Rikard started the job of catching him by sixty 1.0780 to Glenn's
1.1262, big eighth advantage for Rikard 3.9459/207.57 to Glenn's 4.3921/177.68, then a big cloud of smoke from Glenn's
motor which obscured our view of his bike most of the way down the shutdown area, track checked and all OK. Rikard looked
to get off it a touch early. Dale edged out of stage going up on the revs, red and his race done. Fil to sixty in 0.9752
and off the gas.

it off before the stripe but took ti by 0.2078. Martijn to sixty in 1.1266, Allan in 1.2201,
Martijn' smotor was audibly strugglinh towards the eighth. Alan to half track in 4.7968/159.04, Martijn off the gas

Michael way behind 5.0071/159.04, off the gas before the stripe. Bengt took it by 1.2279. Check of Michael's lane and brief
mop-and-Billys clean-up.

Simon shut off after his burnout and was pushed back. Robin took the bye, 0.9811 to sixty, no sign of shake, 4.2345/166.03
at the eighth.

in stage and up on the revs all the while, Silvio within a squeak of getting bulbed by the Autostart. Silvio got the jump
0.0800 to Sandro's 0.1763 but instant shake, off the gas and stopped at half track. 0.9702 to sixty for Sandro, shake and
a pedal about 200 feet out. 3.8269/206.02 at the eighth.

Kevin, car approaching the guardrail, 3.8581/215.95 at the eighth, off the gas before the thousand. Jason not giving up, on and
off the throttle, 5.6509/128.46 at the eighth. Clean-up called in Jason's lane. Kevin Chapman takes the 2019 European Nitro
Funny Car Series title as a result of this win, congratulations Kevin and team!

Steve staged to the right of his burnout tracks. Visible holeshot for Steve 0.2477 to 0.4306, Steve had the better
sixty 0.9325 to 0.9477, Kev with shake off the gas before 330 feet, Steve started to hit shake just before 330 feet and shut
it off. Kevin realised that he couldn't hear Steve and stood back on it, Steve had already gone through
the eighth in 4.0627/130.04, Kev there in 4.2619/161.15 and passed Steve before the thousand, took it by 0.2856.

Anita's first race as 2019 Champion - congratulations Anita and team! - and away first 0.1007 to 0.1090, front
wheels a couple of feet in the air, the much better sixty for
Anita 0.8386 to Stig's 0.8838. Stig's tyres started to shake past the Tree and the dragster was heading left.
2.1627 to 330 feet for Anita to Stig's 2.2727. Stig was aiming straight at the eighth reflectors, Anita
to the eighth in 3.0990/273.59, Stig wrenched the car right at the eighth 3.2043/271.01 and then fire erupted
from his motor and that was his race done. Smoke from Anita's motor right on the thousand.

Liam moved first 0.1192 to 0.1511, instant very visible shake for Liam, to sixty in 0.8405. Maja's left slick
blackstriped and pitched the car right, for a moment she was drifting there, off the gas by sixty 1.1017.
Liam pedalled and got to 330 feet in 2.4910 then off the gas before the eighth 4.4544/109.10.

Jndia left first 0.1408 to Susanne's 0.1462 and the quicker sixty 0.8576 to Susanne's 0.8913 with shake.
A pedal for Susanne, Jndia to 330 feet in 2.2136, Susanne's tyres started to smoke before 330 feet and she pedalled
again, to 330 feet in 2.4036 and through the smoke there was a ball of flame from Susanne's motor and two pieces of
blower belt appeared out of the cloud. Jndia to the eighth in 3.1818/257.96, Susanne slowing 4.0541/126.77. Jndia off the
gas before the thousand, smoke from her motor past the stripe, smoke got thicker and thicker and then fire was visible
around the motor. Clean-up called in the shutdown area.

Micke's Camaro was moving left and right, Dmitry's car moved left but he pulled it back. A fishtail from Micke's car before
the eighth, possibly the decisive moment. Dmitry to the eighth in 3.9435/188.86, Micke in 4.0267/189.37, Dmitry took it by 0.1520.
Now all eyes on Jan Ericsson to decide the title.

Roger lost fire or shut off after the burnout and was pushed back. Jean took the bye, 1.0155 to sixty, a big move left about 300 feet

A lot of smoke from Marcus' left bank on fire-up, cleared during the burnout but then came back whilst backing up.
Mats visibly got the jump 0.0953 to Marcus' 0.2330 and the much better sixty 0.9412 to Marcus' 1.0241, not much sign of shake.
A puff from one pipe on the left bank Marcus' 'Vette took a step left before the eighth and he was off the gas. 3.8319/196.16
to the eighth for Mats, the stripe by 2.6136.

Huuuge holeshot for Kev 0.1065 to David's 0.4393, that'll be a calendar not a timing slip, David to sixty in 0.9652 whilst Kev
had hideous shake, 1.1483 to sixty and a fluid trail started. Kev's bird was heading left and he had to pedal but was then hard
back on the gas trying to chase David down but it was a tall order, David to the eighth in 3.8170/193.72 and Kev in 4.4671/184.77,
David there first by 0.3961. Clean-up called in Kev's lane.

Jimmy realised that he couldn't hear Michel and stomped back on the gas, through the eighth in 4.6365/172.33, Michel already
rolling 5.2564/88.20.

Steve Venables takes the 2019 FIM Europe Super Street Bike Championship as a result of his win, congratulations Ven!
Former Pro Stock Bike racer Chris Hope got in touch to tell us that following Mark Hope's 7.3-second pass he was informed without
any subtlety that he was now only the third quickest and fastest member of the family. "Bloody kids", said Chris. Another new PB
for Yannick Richard, felicitations Yannick! Huge cloud of smoke from Alex Hope's motor all the way down the shutdown area. Track
checked and all OK.

It's a beautiful day here at Santa Pod, sunny, hardly any cloud, mild. Still the gentle crosswind but gentle is
the operative word there.
The plan for today is a real-time reports and results throughout the day, pit notes updated throughout each day courtesy of Simon, and a
gallery at the end of the day courtesy of Julian, Kirstie, DD and Thaliah Gibb. As ever we will do our best to update between pairs during
the Pro sessions if time permits, so keep hitting Refresh.
