The weather window isn't opening, the rain hasn't stopped, so racing has been called for the day.

The off-track Bug Jam activioties continue, but nothing will be happening on the race track.

Race Director Ian Marshall tells us that it is currently looking promising for a weather window, and this is the plan: VW Sportsman have had a qualifying session so their ladder is set. VW Pro will be completed and their ladder set, and all other classes will have one shot at qualifying.

The plan for Fuel Funny Car is to be confirmed, stay tuned.

Good morning and welcome to our coverage of Bug Jam brought to you in association with John Woolfe Racing.

Not a very nice day here currently. It rained heavily pretty much all night and is raining now. Ian and David are out in the tractors sweeping off the suface water anticipating a break in the weather.

The traditional Raceday Good Morning to our US Correspondent Kathy Hileman who is tuned in from NH, hope you are having a good weekend Kathy. Good morning also to the Eurodragsterholics with a particular wave to Kai Plathan and the faithful Otto in Vehkataipale in Finland, to Ivar Kolberg in Norway, to Benni Voss in Germany (see you soon), and to Bob Roberts here in the UK. Bob attended the Street Car Shootout at the Silverstone Classic and sent us a gallery which you can check out via the Eurodragster.com Home Page.

We have a birthday on the Eurodragster.com team today; a big Happy Birthday to our Pit Reporter Simon who has been granted an exeat until the NitrOlympX. Have a great day Simon and we'll see you in a couple of weeks.

Assuming that things work out the coverage plan today is for the usual reports and results of all classes, and a gallery at the end of the day. Santa Pod Raceway are providing the webcast this weekend and you can find links to both incarnations on the Event Index. Queries or comments about the webcast should of course be addressed to Santa Pod and not to us.

Stay tuned, keep an ear on Nitro FM or an eye on the webcast when it commences, and we'll be back with updates every so often. In the meantime you could check out yesterday's gallery, which you can view via the Event Index.
