After further discussion Race Director Carole Ismail has now decided that a one-shot qualifier will take place for all classes tomorrow morning. "We will be starting at 09:00 and pushing everyone hard to get this event done but if we run out of time then we will stop."

Good morning and welcome from Santa Pod Raceway for our coverage of the Festival of Power brought to you in association with John Woolfe Racing.

Misty here at the moment, the top end gantry is just about visible. Through the gloom I can just make out a sweeper in the shutdown area, the track crew had a jet dryer out to dry the first three hundred feet and are currently scraping the Autoglym lane.

You will have seen Santa Pod's statement here on Eurodragster.com and on social media advising spectators not to attend today. As things stand everyone looks to be carrying on as normal, but even without SPR's advice the damp conditions right now would not permit racing to take place. So stay tuned and we will let you know of developments as they happen.
