We'll be back tomorrow with news from qualifying.

Still raining and the radar looks bad so we have been called for the day.

Stay tuned and we will bring you today's gallery shortly.

12:15

Just started raining here. Stay tuned.

11:45

Work continues on the shutdown area, jet dryer doing the edges of the racing surface and the counter-rotator is putting down rubber. Sit tight and we will keep you apprised.

09:50

Track drying going well here. The track looks largely dry, work going on at the top end which we can actually see now, the rising sun burned the mist off. Stay tuned.

07:50

Good morning and welcome from Santa Pod Raceway for our coverage of the Festival of Power brought to you in association with John Woolfe Racing.

The track is currently receiving attention after rain overnight. There was a beautiful clear sunrise this morning but right now mist has descended, although once the sun has come up a bit more that should burn off.

A big Good Morning to all of the Eurodragsterholics, especially to Kai Plathan and the faithful Otto in Finland and Ivar Kolberg tuned in from Norway.

The plan for today is for a live report, pit notes and then a gallery at the end of the day. We are scheduled to start at 09:30 with Lucas Oil Junior Dragster qualifying, stay tuned and we will be back with all the news. In the meantime, why not take a look at the report and gallery from yesterday's brief Pro Peak Performance Test and Tune Day, which you can check out via the Event Index.
