For TOP
FUEL, TOP METHANOL and FUEL FUNNY CAR the Scrutineer
will visit your pit bay ONCE ONLY at the allocated time for your
class. ***IF YOU FAIL TO BE IN YOUR PIT
BAY THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THE SCRUTINEERING COMPOUND AT
THE TOP END OF THE PITS FOR INSPECTION.***
PRO
STOCK and PRO MODIFIED are to take their vehicles to the scrutineering
compound at the top end of the pits to be inspected.
Please
do not attempt to leave any tow vehicles in the scrutineering
weighing area or they will be impounded for the duration of the race event.
SIGNING
ON
Signing on for drivers will take place at the
bottom of Race Control. You must sign on
FIRST at race control and before scrutineering. Race Entry Acceptance note, Competition
Licence and Club Membership card need to be produced to sign on.
PLEASE
NOTE THAT CREW SIGNING ON WILL CLOSE ON SUNDAY EVENING, 28 MAY 2017.
SCRUTINEERING
You must present your Race Acceptance ticket
duly stamped to show that you have signed on and full protective clothing. Any vehicles which leave the race track
during the course of the event must be re-presented to the Scrutineer. If you break please let the Scrutineer know.
LOG
BOOKS
MSA Log Books are mandatory for all cars
unless they are licensed for use on the public highway and are competing in a
road legal condition i.e. complete with Road Tax, Insurance, MOT and street
tyres. Log Books are available from the Scrutineer at the event at a cost of at least £35.00. You will need a photograph of your vehicle – drivers side front three quarter view for a full bodied
vehicle – side elevation for a single seat vehicle. Log Books cannot be issued during the
above first scrutineering sessions. If you require a log book you will have to
present your vehicle to the Scrutineer outside of the
above times.
