18:00 Wild Bunch qualifying session 3 Terry Clifford due to run in the first paur but towed back to the pits, whatever was wrong happened in the lanes and could not see from here. Final pair and Bob Hawkins was going great guns then a huge cloud of smoke which obscured the car. Bob got the car stopped very quickly which is never a good sign, clean-up called in the second half.

Bobby Wallace towed back to the pits after Michel ran. Something small came off Eurodragster.com sponsor Andy's car in the burnout and he shut off on the way back from the burnout. Kev took the bye, 1.0015 to sixty, 4.0733/177.06 at the eighth, the car swaying gently but Kev had a hold of it. Another PB for Kevm well done Kev and team! From here, looked like it was the fuel tank cap which came off the car. Great match between Bert and Eurodragster.com sponsor Marco! Marco had the better sixty 1.0006 to 1.0071 but Bert was visibly edging it back by the eighth 4.0311/180.63 to Marco's 4.0942/179.09, Marco's Vette was swaying around in the second half but he stayed with it. New PB for Bert, well done Bert, Andy and team! Not having taken the green Andy was eligible for another go at it and what a run! 0.9920 to sixty, slight untroubling shake, 4.0377/182.58 at the eighth and #2 spot. Qualifying after this session:

A quick reboot, next pair Richie Webb shut off very quickly and stopped by the guardrail at about 1000 feet. In the other lane Stu Doignie went right side and moved up to #7. Perfect 8.9000 ET for Jon Morton in the final run of the session, good for #1 of course, well done Mort! The extended time slip shows that Mort's full ET was 8.900002 so not just perfect but more than perfect, as we work to four digits.

John Woolfe Racing.
The plan for today is the usual real-time race report and results but please note that Your Reporter is also announcing alongside Colin Theobald so the commentaries in the report may be a touch less detailed than usual. As well as reporting and announcing Your Reporter is monitoring the webcam so it's going to be quite a jolly day for him. Simon will be bringing you pit notes today and then tomorrow he will be giving us real-time updates on Championship standings. Kirstie is racing in Sportsman ET this weekend so Good Luck and stay safe to her; Grace and Julian are Your Photographers this weekend. Again big Congratulations to Julian for winning this year's Allard Award for Photo-Journalism. There are collections, a Charity Football Match and an auction of an autographed 50th Anniversary Supplement going on this weekend to raise funds for Bloodwise in memory of late SPRC Club Secretary Paula Marshall.
