Bert Englefield 6.2824/226.90 def. Michel Tooren 9.9729/67.46 DQ

Michel briefly went up on the revs as soon as he went into stage, then off the revs and back on when Bert was in stage. I suspect that may have thrown his routine as he pulled a -0.0102 red handing the win to Bert. Bert to sixty in 1.0351 and the eighth in 4.1005/177.79. Michel's blower relief panel blew and the safety device put one chute out before the eighth then it sounded as if Bert's blower panel blew right on the stripe.

Michel Tooren 6.4291/228.16 def. Andy Robinson no time DQ

Michel got away first 0.1187 to Eurodragster.com sponsor Andy's 0.2108, Michel to sixty in 1.0193 and Andy in 1.0218 with tyres shaking then smoking, Andy's Camaro started to move right and then did a hard left, up on two wheels, taking out the 330 foot reflector and crossing lanes behind Michel. Michel had driven through shake himself and looked like a brief pedal, either way he had lost a little time to the eighth 4.2291/172.26. Andy still had his hands full as the Camaro was skating across the left lane but he managed to get a hold of it and kept it off the guardrail.

Bert Englefield 6.2677/226.90 def. Roger Moore 6.3904/214.93

Superb race! Roger just away first 0.0734 t0 0.0813 and had the better sixty 1.0126 to Bert's 1.0412. Roger drove through shake to about 200 feet whilst Bert started to edge out a lead, 2.7194 to 330 feet to Roger's 2.7258. Bert to the eighth in 4.0875/178.38 to Roger's 4.1358/174.69, Viper made a move to the right in the second eighth, Bert to the stripe first by 0.1148. New PB ET for Roger, well done Roger, Dave and team!

Kev away first 0.0654 to 0.0815 for Eurodragster.com sponsor Andy. 1.0022 to sixtyf or Andy, Kev in 1.0218 with shake starting to kick in passing the Tree. Kev's 'Bird started to drift left with tyres still shaking, a brief pedal to get it bacck in line but Andy visibly ahead at the eighth 4.0107/184.89 to 4.2237/173.37. Kev stayed on it all the way but Andy had the stripe by 0.3182.

Bert Englefield 6.2470/228.05 def. Wayne Nicholson 6.8471/205.18

Long burndown befoe this race, Bert visibly got the jump on Waybe 0.1800 to 0.2382 and had the better sixty 1.0397 to 1.0978. Wayne's tyres clearly shaking but he drove through it and hung on to the Vette as it made a gentle move left but he was vsibly losing time to Bert. Bert visibly ahead at the eighth 4.0821/180.48 to Wayne's 4.4505/162.35 and the stripe for Bert by 0.6583.

Roger Moore 6.5572/213.88 def. Bobby Wallace 7.2090/206.19

Our two Nitrous cars matched up. Roger away first 0.0742 to 0.1480, drove through shake passing sixty 1.0472 to Bobby's 1,0331 also with shake. A pedal for Roger and a pop from the exhausts about 150 feet out, meanwhile Bobby's Willys was headed left and then went up on three wheels as he corrected and had to pedal. 4.2819/173.35 to the eighth for Roger with motor popping, 4.7183/147.59 for Bobby. 0.7256 at the stripe in Roger's favour.

Michel Tooren 6.0746/236.41 def. Mick Payne 6.7816/208.88

Fantastic race with two PB ETs! Michel in killer form, got the jump on Mick 0.1125 to 0.2967 and a storming 0.9936 but Mick's 1.0519 was no slouch. Mick drove through shake as the Camaro made moves left and right, I thinkI saw one brief pedal. No such issues for Michel, blasting into the threes at the eighth 3.9830/185.73, Mick's Camaro still making moves at the eighth 4.4027/159.47 but he hung on to it. 0.8912 at the strip and yet another PB ET for Michel, Mick on the gas all the way through the second half and into the sixes, blasting his PB ET nd spoeed into next week. Well done Michel, Mick and teams!

Steve Rawlings followed with an observed run in his Vette. Wheels up, shake and a hard left turn at the hit, had to pedal then off it altogether. 1.2071 at sixty having a good go at taking the reflector. 13.3286/66.58 at the stripe. Marck Harteveld followed with a stunning checkout pass in his Supebird. 1.0273 to sixty, drove through shake liek it wasn't there, something came off the car just before the eighth 4.1239/178.46, on it all the way through to a new PB ET and speed 6.2969/220.35. Well done Marck and team!
