Peter Lane (8.80) 92262/115.51 16:45 Gearhead Garage UK Top Sportsman Fast Bracket eliminations round 2 Fantastic save by Pete Youhill whose Nova broke a hose at the hit depositing fluid under the left side of the car. The Nova did a hard left, crossed lanes and was missed by inches by Nick Curtis under full power in Jack Brewster's Camaro, and ended up back in its own lane pointing back at the start line having done a 180. Pete is quite OK. On a whim we calculated Dave Gibbons' 0.0005 breakout as a distance and found that had the track been 1.31 inches longer then Gibb would not have broken out.

12:20 Good afternoon and welcome to our coverage of the Mopar EuroNationals brought to you in association with John Woolfe Racing. The Webster Race Engineering / Nimbus Motorsport webcast will be on-line broadcasting live video and commentary / Nitro FM audio so long as the track is open. The plan for today is for reports and stats on Gearhead Garage UK Top Sportsman immediately each session ends and then a photo gallery at the end of the day. Right now we have cloud and sun but it is quite warm. We had rain this morning and then a light shower right as the track was about to open but the track crew leapt into action and the surface dried quickly.
