APIRA Supertwin Gas*: Robbie Dobbie *Not a National Championship class 17:10 Final results Blade Dummer +0.0047 on dial-in in the Junior Drag Bike final, close to taking the Eurodragster.com Perfect ET Award in support of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, but Champion Liam Holgate took it on Reaction Time. Alfie Udall won the SPRC Supertwin Gas Championship by winning his final and Wayne Bradley took the SPRC ET Bike Championship by winning his final, congratulations both! 8.50 Bike final to be re-run: first time round Jake Mechaell rolled through stage and Jay Roe launched as Jake rolled through, the Tree had not been run so no-one to DQ. Dave Buttery's motor twice cut out in the burnout so Allan Davies took the bye, took the green for the event win but had problems and shut off, pulled over to the guardrail and stopped at 330 feet.

Next up was Neil Midgley with a great 7.4415/141.23 on Chris Hannam's Supertwin, shut ot off at half track and got very close to the guardrail after the stripe. The target this weekend was a seven and Midgo's licence so part one of that done. 15:00 8.50 Bike eliminations round 1 Daniel Bergelin crossed lanes just before the eighth, don't know how he missed the 594 foot reflector. Jake Mechaell pushed back after a few more spots of rain in the air, a brief hold but right now the radar is totally clear following that cloud.

Allan was accompanied to the start line by two sharks... no, not a heart med hallucination, more in the gallery later. Flash and a bang from Champion Phil Crossley's motor right on the stripe, very close to the top end reflectors. Déjà vu for Lorcan Parnell, motor stopped after the burnout and the transmission must have locked in some manner as the bike had to be picked up to get it off the track.

ACU Top Fuel Bike: Steve Woollatt 08:00 Good morning from Santa Pod Raceway and welcome to our coverage of the Extreme Performance Bike Weekend brought to you in association with John Woolfe Racing. The Webster Race Engineering / Nimbus Motorsport webcam will be on-line broadcasting live video and commentary / trackside audio so long as the track is open (see below). The traditional Raceday Good Morning to our US Correspondent Kathy Hileman, although right now she is on the Indian subcontinent. Hope you are having fun Kathy and don't forget the dirty postcards. We could do with some Indian weather, or at least an Indian Summer, here as rain came in at the end of the racing day yesterday and then after a few hours' relative calm overnight it is now falling down. The radar shows it clearing later on so fingers crossed. We will keep you informed; of course we will not switch on the webcast until we are close to starting. When we do get going the plan is live reports, results and stats from Your Reporter, Championship updates from Simon, and then a gallery at the end of the day courtesy of Kirstie and Julian.
