Nick Edwards' All Torque is making its first outing with a completely new motor, a Pauter Big Block built by VWDRC legend Russ Fellows. Its horsepower is a closely-guarded secret but is "A lot". The first outing resulted in a couple of wheelstands which dug holes into the track surface.

This is Nigel Green's first VWDRC outing in some time; he usually runs in Pro ET. Nigel's Beetle is for sale.

The Netherlands' Robert Jongen has Subaru power in his Beetle. Robert ran 8.7 at VW Action last season and is looking to repeat this weekend.

Tom Herbert, usually found in front of the camera, is racing his VW Golf this weekend. First outing with the VR6 turbo was hit by fuelling issues but he hopes to have those sorted by this evening.

Matthew Dolby is another racer out for the first time in a while. His race motor has been installed in his Autohouse Dolby-sponsored daily drive Beetle. Matthew is aiming to put all the power through a stock 1200 gearbox.

Kaylee Jackson is making her first ever competitive outing in her Beetle. She is usually to be found amongst hot rods but made her first two runs at Dragstalgia last weekend.

This is Dave Lea's first weekend sponsored by Black Circle Coffee. Dave runs a Mk 3 VR6.

Adrian London is leading the VW Sportsman Championship in his daily drive VW Passat. He did consider bringing his Polo but right now it is an unknown quantity and he doesn't want to risk his Championship placing.

Zaykk Benoit is racing his Audi A3 and is aiming to win his first elimination round at Bug Jam.
