10:00 Lucas Oil Junior Dragster qualifying session 4 Big move for Bonnie Wallace, up from #17 to #5 in the fifth pair. One noticeable point in the last couple of days is just how close a lot of the Juniors have got to their class index during testing and qualifying, the JMA racers especially are getting the 7.9s right on the button, Katie Ellis in her Junior Stock dragster has run a number of 12.9s. Great stuff and that'll make setting the dial-ins a bit easier I guess.

The Webster Race Engineering / Nimbus Motorsport webcam is on-line and broadcasting live video and commentary / Nitro FM audio so long as the track is open. On the subject of webcasts it is only right that you, our faithful readers, should be the first to learn that Santa Pod Raceway have kindly given us the go-ahead to webcast next weekend's Festival of Power. Webcast will commence with Thursday's Pro Racer Test and Tune and will continue throughout the three days of the race, which ends on Sunday evening. It's a beautiful morning here at Santa Pod. Clear blus skies all around and uninterrupted sunshine which will already be warming the track. The crew are out doing their thing with sweeper and replacement tractor. If you were tuned in to yesterday's race report or if you checked out yesterday's gallery you will have read or seen that a rear wheel sheared off the John Deere in a turn behind Race Control. I don't know where they got it from but the SPR management had another tractor here within the hour, so a big Thumbs Up to them for that, and the John Deere is under repair ready for next week. The traditional raceday Good Morning to our US Correspondents Ed O'Connell and Kathy Hileman who are tuned in from Rye, NH.
