Phil Pratt up from #8 to #4, now shifting manually after ditching the air shifter. Next pair and Dave Smart took over #1 from #15. #14 to #7 for Richard Sawatzki in the next pairing. Great match-up between Joe Elliott and new name Paul Morris, up from #13 to #4 and #14 to #3 respectively. Mark and Alex Hope side-by-side in the next pair, Alex up from #15 to #2. That was a great 9.50 Bike session.

Testing session Perfect run by Paul Watson in his new car, well done Grumps! Alas not eligible for the Eurodragster.com / Gold RV Perfect ET Award as the run has to be made in competition. Paul Przybyl ran into the 7.8s in his ex-Stutz dragster yesterday, going through formal licencing today with a launch in the RWYB session and now a half pass. Backfire from the motor on the first burnout attempt but no harm done.

16:40 Lucas Oil Junior Dragster qualifying session 1 Caitlin Wilson one of two racers to pull a 0.000 in testing earlier, Craig Wright the other. Could Caitlin repeat the feat in competition for the £50 Eurodragster.com / Bad Habit Racing Perfect Light Award? Not quite but plenty of time left to win the money. Having run in exhibition last year it's great to see Holley Marshall in competition in the ADI Group-sponsored Junior FC which after some winter work is now legal for the class.

Excellent pass for Colin Millar to take #1 spot, even quicker than yesterday's test runs. Simon Barlow lost fire after his burnout, restarted and lost fire again and pushed back.

15:30 Good afternoon and welcome to our coverage of Big Bang brought to you in association with Alamo Rent-A-Car. The Webster Race Engineering / Nimbus Motorsport webcam will be on-line and broadcasting live video and trackside audio so long as the track is open. Our apologies for the loss of the webcam yesterday which was down to the serious failure of our webcam PC. Thanks to the timing crew here in Race Control for lending us a PC or there would be no webcast at all this weekend. Thanks also to Doyousee.me for streaming services. It's overcast but dry here at Santa Pod, with a chilly headwind. The track held everything thrown at it during yesterday's VWDRC test and today's Run What You Brung; Colin Millar took Low ET of the two sessions with a 7.762 yesterday, close behind him was Paul Przybyl witn a 7.869 in what we think was his first full pass in the former Noah Stutz Super Comp dragster. Qualifying is due to commence at 16:00 but may be delayed as the tractor has had to be replaced. The green John Deere which we all know and love sheared off one of its rear wheels whilst prepping the track at lunchtime. A replacement tractor has been summoned.
