15:30 Martyn has kindly given us the standings after today's final Straightliners qualifying session (the sixth in all) and those are now available via the Event Index page; you may have to click on Refresh on the Event Index to pick up the link for today's Q6 data. Straightliners racer Hensley Eugenia took a spill from his bike just past the eighth, after sliding and rolling along the track Hensley came to a stop on his hands and knees; similarly to Kev Charman yesterday Hensley went to get up but then changed his mind. Meanwhile Hensley's bike stayed upright and carried on down the track without him, not unlike a Grand National horse after it unseats its rider. The safety crews were there in moments and Hensley is quite OK. 15:00 Super Street Bike eliminations round 2 Low ET of the event by Ven to celebrate his Championship. Simon Giordmaina and Graham Balchin pushed back from stage after being shut off as Graham Dance's bike needed rescuing from the shutdown area, they were be given cooling down time and ran after Supertwin Gas. Visible 0.107 to 0.261 holeshot for Thomas Granica put Wayne Saunders on the trailer, 0.119 in it at the stripe - not even close.

14:50 Funny Bike eliminations round 1 Congratulations to 2011 ACU UK Funny Bike Champion, and repeat Champion from 2010, Steve French who had to get through this round to win the title, which he duly did. Huge cloud of smoke from Al Young's motor right on the stripe, track checked and found to be OK. Next pair and a good riding job from Dave Peters, had the bike over at about 45 degrees to keep it in his lane at about 1000 feet and then two pieces blew off the bike, looked from here like wheelie bar panels.

We're having a session of Straightliners whilst the Championship classes assemble then the first rounds of Super Street Bike, 8.50 Bike and 9.50 Bike eliminations. 11:30 We are about fifteen minutes from starting. Looks like the plan is the first rounds of Championship eliminations then Straightliners. Good news about the job Ivar and we look forward to seeing you here next season. As you can see from the webcam we have a rather damp track this morning. We had several showers and one prolonged spell of rain overnight... either that or someone had a very large supply of ball bearings to pour onto the roof of the caravan in which your reporter stayed last night. The track crew were up and at 'em early and are out there working hard to get the strip dry. One unfortunate effect of the wet track is that this morning's ACU, UK National and NAST qualifying session, which would have been qualifying cycle 4, has been cancelled. Simon has one set of pit notes for you, which he will post shortly, and then once racing starts he will be working on Championship points in real time.
