Maikel of our stream server provider Doyousee.me will be upgrading the stream server in time for the FIA Main Event. For the rest of this weekend we will be using the UStream back-up service, however Maikel has shown us how to broadcast to Ustream with the same quality of picture and sound as we were getting from the Doyousee.me server. Your reporter did not know that this was even possible so we are doubly lucky that Maikel is around this weekend! The downside to Ustream is that it places the occasional advertisement but the simple choice for the rest of this weekend is Ustream or no stream so we're sure that our viewers will put up with it for a couple of days and then we'll be advert-free in future. 19:30 Super Modified qualifying after session 6 A big Hello to Annette Smallworth, tuned in from the USA to see how bother Rob gets on in this session. Consistency from Nigel Payne, another 7.4 at 7.4971. Pete Thompson edged out of stage before hitting the throttle slowing down his ET. Andy Hone close to the centre line on his pass, feathered the throttle to keep it in his lane. Nice run for Rob, approached the centre line but stayed with it.

19:10 Nostalgia Fuel Altered Association session 3 (left lane first): Gary Page 6.8135/182.87 bye; Terri-Ann White bye; 1.3009 to sixty for Gary, looked like he rolled the beams a little before hitting it. 4.4504/175.76 at half track, the car swaying left and right but Gary hung on to it, nice run! Excellent observed run for Terri-Ann, 1.3675 to sixty feet, 5.1883/152.11 at the eighth then off the throttle and chute out. Super Comp qualifying after session 6 Jon Morton moved from #8 to #4 in the first pair. Collin Morrice up into #2. Nice 0.0035 RT from Pete Cresswell two pairs later. Naughty but nice licencing pass by Noah Stutz, 8.1066/165.45.

To see the webcam, just go back to the webcam page and do a Ctrl+R. 18:20 Pro ET qualifying after session 6 0.003 RT for Rick Denny in the third pair. Bob Molden up from #14 to #4 next pair. Two pairs later Amanda Cox moved up from #28 to #10. Next pair and Mike Lacey took over the lead from #22. That lasted all of one pair as Lee Huxley took the lead and the Eurodragster.com/Gold RV Perfect ET Award with a 9.9303 on a 9.93 dial-in, well done Lee! It's now the top 25 of 30 separated by 0.0980, how about that!

Next up was Martin Hill in the Fireforce 3 Jet FC, great run, 5.9755/268.32. 17:20 Pro Fuel Shootout qualifying session 2 (left lane first): Shelley Pearson 7.5886/105.79 , Risto Poutiainen 13.5574/70.50; Urs Erbacher 5.0522/246.73, Jari Halinen 7.0006/117.15; Gordon Smith 6.0926/214.11, Anita Mäkelä 12.9756/88.73 Huge holeshot for shelley 0.0362 to 0.1626. Risto's tyres up in smoke and he shut off, 1.1906 to sixty feet for Shelley, off the throttle just before half track 4.0068/152.92. 0.9234 to sixty for Eurodragster.com sponsor Urs, 0.8798 for Jari, 3.3276/246.66 at half track for Urs, cylinder or two out on the right bank but Urs stayed with it, fire from Jari's motor just before half track and he shut off. 1.2365 to sixty for Gordon, 1.1352 for Anita and then her tyres blazed and she shut off. 4.1344/215.96 at the eighth for Gordon, looked like a very soft run for the hot track and off the throttle a touch early. 17:05 MSA Pro Modified qualifying session 3 (left lane first): Roger Moore 6.7696/206.04 bye; Wayne Nicholson 7.7748/191.40, Jean Dulamon 7.1636/195.34; Graham Ellis 7.5957/147.17, Andy Robinson 6.1576/229.05; Steve Hall shut off (bye); Andy Wright 18.9953/58.21 bye PB for Roger Moore, well done Roger! 1.0935 to sixty feet, 4.3896/165.44 at the eighth and more to come since he took the long way round and made a couple of photographers step back at about 200 feet. 1.0922 to sixty for Jean, 1.5058 for Wayne, Wayne's 'Vette moved about his lane some and he feathered the throttle in the second half. 4.6483/154.24 at the eighth for Jean, off the throttle a touch early. 1.0111 to sixty for Eurodragster.com sponsor Andy, fellow Eurodragster.com sponsor Graham got to sixty feet in a pedestrian 1.4752 and then picked up only for the blower's burst panel to blow at half track. 4.0251/183.42 at the eighth for Andy and even further into #1 spot. Short but good burnout for Steve and then shut off and pushed back. A quick clean-up followed in Steve's lane. Tyre spin at the hit for Andy and the Coupe turned hard right, Andy shut off and idled through. Qualifying after this session:
Top Fuel Bike qualifying session 2 (left lane first): Christian Jäger 16.0856/56.53 bye; Kev Charman 6.9854/199.74 bye; Chris Hannam 7.4755/176.43; Steve Woollatt 6.6145/183.62, Shawn Rodman 8.1712/166.14 Christian's rear tyre blazed a few feet off the line, and I mean so much smoke that the back end of the bike disappeared. Christian got off the throttle and idled through. Great run for Kev, 1.1331 to sixty feet, 4.6045/164.85 at the eighth, slightly long way round but stayed with it all the way, nice one Kev! Another nice one for Cannon, 1.2399 to sixty feet, 4.8016/149.60, sounded like the motor hesitated a little around half track but stayed on it all the way. 1.1430 to sixty for Steve W to Shawn's 1.2842 and 4.2563/176.92 eighth to Shawn's 5.2732/135.36. Steve shut off a touch early. Qualifying after this session:
16:35 Pro Stock exhibition (left lane first): Tommy Leindahl 7.2405/158.49, Conrad Stanley 7.1076/177.79 Conrad got the jump 0.0808 to 0.1141, 1.0347 to sixty feet to Tommy's 1.0526, 4.5320/154.46 at the eighth to Tommy's 4.5229/157.76, both shut off before the stripe and Conrad there first by 0.1662. Top Methanol qualifying session 2 (left lane first): Steph Milam 8.1035/164.25, Dave Wilson 15.9333/64.04 Same story for Grumpy, tyres up in smoke at the hit. 1.4230 to sixty for Steph, 5,2573/137.28 at the eighth, squeezing on and off the throttle and off the gas in the second half. Qualifying after this session:
16:20 Nostalgia Fuel Altered Association session 2 (left lane first): Dave Grabham no time bye; Joe Bond 6.9109/195.54 bye; Good to see the Freddy's Revenge altered back on track after the mishap at the Xtreme Wheels Show last year. Unfortunately another mishap this time; the altered stood up on its tail, so far up that all four wheels were off the track, then smacked down to earth and one of the front wheels came off. The altered then slid across the track front-ended the guardrail although thankfully not athigh speed. The Chaos altered towed back to the pits whilst Freddy's Revenge was recovered. Great run for Joe, although he did more than a quarter of a mile since the altered was all over its lane - Joe stayed with it though, a good piece of driving. 1.1334 to sixty feet and 4.4692/161.83 at the eighth. 16:10 Pro Stock Bike qualifying after session 5 Improvement for Ray Debben and into the sevens but he stayed in place on the ladder. Great run by Dave Beck to consolidate his #1 spot.

Trackside conditions are 27.8 C, 30% humidity and 29.59 inches' air pressure. Temperature where your reporter is sat is 47.4 C. 15:30 Eric Teboul restarted proceedings with a 5.3173/244.95 on his Rocket Bike. 0.9502 to sixty feet, 3.5143/225.46 at the eighth. Fantastic! 14:35 Super Street Bike qualifying after session 5 Ian Cotton came off his Busa at half track in the second pair. It's difficult to say what happened as it was all very quick, the bike got crossed up and there was a cloud of smoke and Ian and the bike came out of it separately. When Ian slid to a stop he went to sit up but then thought better of it whilst the safety crews sped to his aid - they were there in seconds. Ian taken to the Medical Centre to be checked out. Excellent run for Pete Field, another PB and up to second, well done Pete! Improvement for Dave Holland but he stayed in place.

An upgrade is already being investigated and should be in place for the FIA Main Event. 13:15 Super Pro ET qualifying after session 5 Steve Johnson into #1 in the second pair of the session. Leon Green next to make a move, up from #20 to #15. Ian Powell now licenced and matched up against Paula Atkin who had a 6.99 dial-in. 7.1362/194.46 for Paula, sounded like a slight hesitation from the motor at about half track. No chute for Paula but stopped OK and up to #10 into the bargain. next pair and a big move for Dave Raper, up from #22 to #7. Next pair John Everitt moved up from #9 to #4 and we had a dancing Kirstie on the start line. Craig Owen took a close look at the Tree in his burnout but the Tree stepped aside and no harm done, problem engaging a gear at half track and the motor started to zing, Craig was off it pretty quickly.

10:00 Super Comp qualifying after session 4 A big Hello to Christine Morrice's mum who is tuned in from New Zealand, hope you are enjoying the coverage mum. Bucking bronco ride for Steve Wells' pick-up, I'd swear that all four wheels were off the track surface a couple of times. Martin Curbishley up from #9 to #6 in the third pair. Paul Brown did this round with the wing on the Dunster House dragster. First look at Noah Stutz' dragster and it is a beautiful piece of kit. First run under the supervision of FIA European Top Fuel Dragster Champion and Eurodragster.com sponsor Urs Erbacher, lost fire on the line but quickly restarted. Motor didn't seem to want to go up on the revs in stage but Noah got it sorted and made a very nice launch.

9:45 Super Pro ET qualifying after session 4 Craig Owen has certainly got the hang of Mark Flavell's FC, 7.458 on a 7.87 dial-in, got a bit bouncy in the shutdown area and it was an act of some bravery to take one hand off the wheel and pull the chute. 7.165 breakout for Paula Atkin in the Mustang, that was with a pedal at half track as the car moved about its lane. At this rate "We want to run a six this season" may well have to change to "We want to run a six today". Superb rolling burnout by Reinier van Schelt, I'd say he has that bit of licencing pretty much wrapped up and a very competent 8.983/151.08, I am guessing that's his licence signed.

Jon Turner next to make a move, #17 to #11, followed by Nigel Green, #26 to #9 next run. Gordon Northway next up the ladder, #19 to #7 in the following pair, next run and Paul Marston went from #17 to #2 followed by Billy Gane up from #19 to #11. That was quite some session!
