Super Pro ET qualifying after session 10:

Steve Johnson up from #11 to #4 in mid-session. Drama for Vince Gibbs near the end of the session as the Nosferatu Firebird pulled a huge wheelie and tagged the wall as it came down, certainly the headers touched the wall as there was a shower of sparks. Vince was quickly off the throttle, pulled the car straight and was quite OK. Nice 0.0077 RT for Rod Harrison on his pass.

Super Gas qualifying after session 10:

Looks like more bad fortune for Werner Zudrell, his car broke after the burnout and the track crew pushed it back very slowly and gingerly amid ominous clunking noises (from the car, not the crew). Jon Morton up from #14 to #11 two pairs later.

Nostalgia Fuel Altered Association session 3 (left lane first):

John Wright 7.8618/114.66, Jim Usher 7.6083/152.67; Dave Grabham 8.4187/161.90, Bob Glassup no time

Half pass for John, close to the wall and parachute out at about 1000 feet. Jim off the throttle at about half track then on it long enough to get past John. Bob rolled the beams, Dave headed for the centre line and had to pedal - only just missing the 330 foot reflector.

Roger Goring followed the NFAA with a 6.1923/257.61 in the Firestorm Jet FC.

18:25

Fuel Funny Car session 3 (left lane first):

John Spuffard 10.5403/81.67 bye; Thomas Nataas 13.8380/68.86, Gary Page 6.9940/123.53;

Shake and smoke for Spuff, 1.0884 to sixty feet and off it by about 200 feet. 0.9989 to sixty for Gary, 1.0320 for Thomas, Thomas hit shake and got off the throttle. A bang and a ball of flame from Gary's FC at about 300 feet, lots of smoke but from here it didn't look as if the car was actually on fire, just smoking from the initial boomer. Metal and oil were found in Gary's lane, we're on hold for clean-up.

18:10

FIA Pro Modified qualifying session 4 (left lane first):

Norbert Kuno 7.5942/210.01 bye; Henri Joosten 7.4180/163.65, Robert Koper 10.3054/87.04; Urban Johansson 6.5590/210.03 def. Kev Slyfield 8.8377/102.60; Roger Moore 9.3408/99.51, Bert Englefield 6.7059/209.97; Jöran Persåker 8.9182/113.50, Graham Ellis 6.2401/229.03; Micke Lindahl 6.2887/228.05, Micke Gullqvist 6.2113/222.27; Roger Johansson 6.2764/227.02, Mats Eriksson 6.0127/239.87;

Norbert's last chance to get in to the ladder and he just managed it, shake off the line and a couple of pedals and he wasn't getting off it for anything. In at #16 though and Henri was waiting to run after his run earlier today was DQ'd for a fuel issue. 1.0600 to sixty for Henri then the Chevy started to move to the wall, Henri pedalled briefly and got back on it, the Chevy moving about its lane but Henri wanted in tomorrow and got it! Robert hit shake off the line and shut off. Shake fest for Urban and Kev, Kev's Willys starting to make violent moves and he had to shut off, Urban's 'Vette moving all over its lane but he stayed on it as much as he could, only pedalling briefly. 1.0790 to sixty for Roger M, 1.1070 for Bert, brief pedal for Roger and then a nitrous burp at about 300 feet. Bert drove through shake, no improvement in ET. Great run for Graham, 1.0439 to sixty feet and 4.0918/180.99 to the eighth and one place up the ladder. Smoke from Jöran's Firebird and the car started to move left and right, Jöran got off the throttle at half track. Great side-by-side for the two Mickes. 0.0563 Rt for Micke L, 1.0210 to sixty for Micke G to Micke L's 1.0581, 4.0459 to the eighth for Micke G to Micke L's 4.1204, improvements for both but both stayed in place. Mats left for dead on the Tree 0.3331 to 0.6496 then he was chasing Roger J down. 1.0260 to sixty for Mats to Roger's 1.1051, 3.9651/189.40 at the eighth to Roger's 4.1354/181.98, Mats backed up yesterday's 241.49 as a new European speed record, well done Mats!

Bruno straight into stage, Andy composed himself and then pulled a -0.1316 red light. 0.9004 to sixty for Bruno, quickest Pro Mod sixty foot I think I have ever seen, 4.0228/184.11 at the eighth.

0.9122 to sixty for Rob, tiny amount of shake, 3.5598/204.96 at the eighth and then the blower relief panel blew and there was a clearly audible shrieking noise from the motor. Great run for Krister, 0.9394 to sixty, 3.5649/259.67 at the eighth. Esko had a couple of cylinders out all the way, no improvement and Krister bumped him out of the ladder. Peter's problem in the last run was just a sprag so no real harm done. Dennis in the last chance saloon and he is spectating tomorrow, motor sounded to be struggling in the second half. 0.9193 to sixty feet for Peter, 3.5346/213.54 at the eighth and a huge new Personal Best ET, well done Peter! Derek and Grumpy both safely in the ladder before their runs. 0.9577 to sixty for Derek, 0.9460 for Grumpy, 3.6212/215.86 to half track for Derek to Grumpy's 3.5952/225.21, Grumpy looked to have cylinders out in the seocnd half. 0.9549 to sixty for Japa, the car moving left and right and getting more and more into a pendulum but he stayed with it until about 1100 feet. An improvement in ET but he stayed in place. More shake for Danny at the hit but he stayed with it, wasn't getting off it for anything. 0.9779 to sixty for Dan, straight pass, 3.8358/194.53 at half track. Steph rolled the beams very slightly. Looked like a quicker run for Ulf than the time which appeared on the boards, 0.9744 to sixty feet and 3.7912/197.16 at the eighth.

Final qualifying:

  1. Ulf Leanders 5.6874/245.52

FIA Top Fuel Dragster qualifying session 4 (left lane first):

Anita Mäkelä 4.8691/270.52 bye, Jon Webster 4.8250/293.38, Linda Thun Tønseth 9.3194/80.54; Stig Neergaard 8.8333/92.56, Micke Kågered 9.1757/78.84; Andy Carter 7.5232/107.30, Risto Poutiainen 6.6730/125.24

According to the timing console Linda was meant to be up against Anita but Linda did not start and no-one seemed to be concerned. Great run for Anita, 0.8825 to sixty feet, 3.2707/255.00 at half track then the blower panel blew at about 1000 feet. Anita moved up to #3 with that pass, interviewed on the start line Tommi Haapanen just said "That's my wife!". Eurodragser.com sponsor Jon blew away his Personal best ET, 0.8896 to sixty feet, 3.2588/252.03 at the eighth, shut off a touch early but well done Jon! Linda got to sixty feet in 0.8713 but then the dragster's slicks started to shake then smoke and she got off the gas. 0.8890 to sixty for Stig and 0.8667 for Micke then both hit shake, Micke shut off whilst Stig stayed with it a moment longer but his tyres blazed and then he got off it. After Andy backed up he beckoned his crew over and handed them a butterfly steering wheel, much to their bemusement and then amusement. 0.9038 to sixty for Andy with two right side cylinders out, 0.8659 for Risto, then both hit shake, Andy got off it but Risto was probably determined to get there first and stayed with it until his tyres blazed.

Final qualifying:

  1. Andy Carter 4.7816/310.61
  2. Stig Neergaard 4.7942/302.16
  3. Jon Webster 4.8250/293.38

FIA Pro Stock qualifying session 4 (left lane first):

Kenneth Soderström 6.9937/196.41 bye; Jonas Dantanus 6.9830/197.26, Harald Sturhan 7.5809/193.77; Jan Palmqvist 6.8651/202.56, Magnus Hansson 7.0055/198.77; Eero Knihtilä 6.8345/201.60, Tommy Leindahl 7.7720/132.98; Richard Sundblom 6.7717/205.23, Micke Callin 6.8030/203.24; Jimmy Ålund 6.7763/205.32, Michael Malmgren 6.7488/204.17

Nice run for Kenneth, but not enough to get him into the ladder for tomorrow although as things stand he is first alternate. Sounded as if Jonas lost fire for a moment after coming back from the burnout but restarted quickly. Smoke from Jonas' motor again but a clean enough run that aside, lost some pace from his previous best. Shake and a hard right turn for Harald, a long pedal then back on it, running alongside the guardrail until about three quarter track and he will be watching tomorrow. Shake at the hit for Jan but he drove right through it, shake by the Tree for Magnus and he lost some time. Eero drove through mild shake, Tommy hit had shake at about 100 feet, just missed the 330 foot reflector but then took out the eighth mile reflectors.

Richard and Micke first on the re-start, both cars drifting a little off the line but both staying with it and a PB for Micke, well done Micke! Although improved he stayed in place on the ladder. Consistent pass for Michael, Jimmy drove through shake and tried to chase Michael down, 0.0087 or 32 inches in it at the stripe but in qualifying it's not really an issue.

Final qualifying:

  1. Jimmy Ålund 6.6492/207.03
  2. Richard Sundblom 6.7195/206.01
  3. Michael Malmgren 6.7395/204.19

FIM/UEM Top Fuel Bike qualifying session 4 (left lane first):

Otto Knebl 8.2112/162.47 bye; Bob Brooks 8.2072/135.26 bye; Gary Jones 7.4647/188.94, Michal Ponca 10.5498/128.45; Rikard Gustafsson 6.4930/211.09, Rene van den Berg 8.2083/151.62; Steve Woollatt 6.4376/216.06, Kai Selkamäa no time; Ian King 6.2903/228.18; Ian Carruthers 7.7740/136.13; Peter Svensson 5.9179/236.54, Sverre Dahl no time

Otto's front end bouncing up and down some, no improvement so he spectates tomorrow. Bob's bike sounded lazy and sounded as if the last gear didn't engage, Bob shut off before the strip and is also watching tomorrow. Gary Jones a good bet to get into the ladder but the rear slick spun and the bike was moving around, he had to feather the throttle. In the other lane Michal sounded to miss a gear but then found it, too late by then. Rene another good best to get into the ladder. Not to be, a flash of flame at the hit and cylinders out all the way down. Consistent pass for Rikard. Kai's bike crept off the line and he drew to a halt at half track. 1.1198 to sixty for Steve W, 4.2138/177.68 at the eighth, an improvement but stayed in place. Another nice run from the Champion Ian K, but Ian C was right with him for the first hundred yards until Rush's bike started to drift towards the centre line and he had to back off at about half track. Blinding pass by Peter, 1.0232 to sixty feet, 3.9300/196.22 at the eighth and no fishtail this time, a huge speed too which backs up yesterday's run, well done Peter and Sören! The ET was two thousandths too quick to be backed up by yesterday's run but Peter has at least one more run to back it up. Sverre had a drive belt break at the hit and he stopped on the track.

Final qualifying:

  1. Peter Svensson 5.9179/236.54
  2. Ian King 6.1213/222.18
  3. Sverre Dahl 6.2769/227.77

FIM/UEM Supertwin qualifying session 4 (left lane first):

Job Heezen 6.8518/206.27, Ian Turburville 8.0224/187.36; Jaska Salakari shut off, Chris Hannam 13.0189/70.83; Trond Hoiberget 7.1344/192.20, Samu Kemppainen 7.1585/192.90; Matti Vahasaari shut off, Hans Olav Olstad 6.9964/183.59 bye; Roel Koedam 7.0792/195.54, Lorenz Stäuble 16.6505/43.01; Svein Olav Rolfstad 7.1493/190.50 bye

Last chance saloon for both Job and Turbo. Job had what it took, back on form and then some, 1.1892 to sixty feet and 4.5397/169.10 to the eighth, into #4. Turbo spectating tomorrow. Jaska also spectating tomorrow, shut off for a fluid leak. Cannon took the bye but the bike headed for the guardrail from launch so Cannon feathered the throttle to get it out of trouble and idled down the track. A quick clean-up and Trond and Samu faced off, Samu in the ladder and Trond outside. A great side-by-side match-up and Trond went into the ladder above Samu who also improved. That put Matti out of the ladder and his motor stopped after the burnout. Hans Olav took the bye, another six-second pass but left oil all the way down the shutdown area.

Roel and Lo next on after the clean-up. Lo's slick spun at the hit and the bike moved left and right, he got off the throttle and idled through. Nice run for Roel but no improvement on his earlier number. A Supertwin field without Svein Olav was all but unthinkable, would he get in? The answer was yes, that was with a cylinder out and a feather of the throttle at about 400 feet.

Final qualifying:

  1. Lorenz Stäuble 6.5552/216.92
  2. Per Bengtsson 6.7018/188.86

Martin N's bike sounded to have trouble changing gear and he shut off at the top of third gear. No improvement for Martin B or Ray, Martin B safely in the ladder but Ray not solid yet. Gert-Jan's best run of the weekend so far, safely in the ladder, no improvement for Len. Improvement for Becky but he stayed in place, big speed though, no improvement for Fredrik. Consistent run for Ulf, Anders lost a tiny bit on his last run.

John Wright 9.2694/87.03, Jim Usher 7.4784/181.35; Dave Grabham 7.1678/178.54, Bob Glassup 7.1224/175.05; Jon Best 7.0034/200.55 bye

John off the throttle and chutes out at half track, Jim's pass looked gentle but he was on it all the way. Great side-by-side passes for Dave and Bob, side-by-side all the way and 0.1331 at the stripe. Jon got close to the wall in the second half, the car disappearing in smoke from the motor, I could make out a parachute opening and then there was a bang, maybe blower burst panel.

13:50

Fuel Funny Car session 2 (left lane first):

Gary Page 12.1003/95.70 bye; Gordon Smith 5.2104/278.91 bye

More high idling from Gary's motor after the burnout, a crew member again rushed to the car and calmed it down. Instant tyre smoke at the hit and Gary shut off. Tremendous run for Gordon, 0.9538 to sixty feet, 3.5403/233.99 at half track, a new Personal Best, well done Gordon and Dave!

1.0267 to sixty for Henri, the big Chevy made a move to the right but he stayed with it, 4.2574/169.06 at the eighth and a move up the ladder. Improvements for both Robert and Jöran, smoke from Jöran's motor and the chute out early so the run could have been quicker too. Instant shake and smoke for Norbert, he played no further part. Meanwhile Mats backed up his five-second pass for a new European ET record, 1.0271 to sixty feet and 3.9707/184.97 at half track, well done Mats! We were told to expect a 6.5 or a pitched hood scoop from Roger M. Not quite although it looked a good run, 1.0802 to sixty feet, the Viper moved to the right but Roger stayed with it then looked like a brief pedal, 4.5160/157.42 at the eighth. 1.0511 to sixty for Bert, 4.2231/169.02 to the eighth, an improvement but stayed in place. Instant shake and what looked like a broken drive train for Micke G and he rolled to a halt at about 1250 feet, in the other lane Eurodragster.com sponsor Marco blew his Personal Bests into next week with an awesome pass, 1.0120 to sixty feet and 4.0430/180.24 at the eighth, up the ladder into the bargain. Well done Marco! Micke L shut off for a fluid leak, Graham took the bye and his motor sounded very rough on the two step, instant shake and left turn, Graham pedalled and tried again briefly but then shut off.

1.0313 to sixty feet for Esko, two cylinders out on the right side which cleared at half track 3.9307/200.58, it's not often you see dropped cylinders clear and the car picked up visibly as they did. Sounded like trouble starting the car for Fred, the motor really struggled to stay lit. Tuner Will Hanna sprinted back round to the collection area and whatever ailed Fred's dragster was quickly sorted. 0.9500 to sixty for Fred, 0.9328 for dennis, Dennis pedalled for shake, Fred was really on one 3.5557/216.90 at half track to Dennis' pedalled 3.7151/200.21, Fred's blower panel blew at about 1000 feet. Consistent run for Rob, 0.9841 to sixty and 3.7034/203.30 at half track. Krister's tyres shook for about ten feet then went up in smoke and the dragster turned hard right so Krister got off the throttle. A quick sweep of Rob's lane after the run. Peter's motor grunted and died at the hit, I do hope that motor isn't in lots of bits now but it sure sounded like it. New PB for Paul Ingar, 0.9078 to sixty feet, hardly any shake to speak of, 3.5510/210.45 at the eighth and into #4 spot, well done Paul! Grumpy next to the line, 279.84 mph from yesterday to back up but anything in between 269.32 mph and 277.13 mph would also be a record. Timo already had the fastest Whipple charger-assisted dragster in the world so he had #1 spot to defend. 200-foot burnout by Grumpy but to no avail as the rear tyres went up in smoke at the hit and there was also a bang from the Silverline car. 0.8751 to sixty for Timo, 3.4694/213.43 at the eighth, very consistent run.

Shakefest in the first pair but no-one was getting off it for anything. 0.9886 to sixty fot Leif to Japa's 0.9695, hard right move then a hard left move for Japa, Leif's Stratus moved towards the left guardrail but he stayed with it. 3.7717/196.23 at the eighth for Leif to Japa's 3.9965/180.32. Improvement and a place made up for Japa. Instant and frightening shake for Danny, that will have rung his bell. 0.9734 to sixty for Dan, driving through shake which looked to be mainly the left tyre, 3.8055/196.74 at the eighth and close to the guardrail at the finish line. Ulf's next chance to back up the longest-standing FIA record, the record for ET, but not to be this time. 0.9819 to sixty feet and driving through shake as the car made hard moves left and right. 3.8259/196.71 at half track. 1.1165 to sixty for Steph and 4.1649/182.72 at the eighth, an improvement but stayed in place.

Bracket car for Stig! 0.8878 to sixty feet, driving through shake, 3.2222/258.96 at the eighth and judging by the speed shut off just a touch early. Bracket car for Andy! 0.8388 to sixty feet, a brief pedal for shake and then the car really took off. 3.2519/254.43 at the eighth and another big speed. A slight improvement to consolidate the #1 spot. Jöran had trouble getting reverse, Jon was ready to stage whilst he was coming back but Jöran's crew got the pre-stage checks done very quickly. 0.8963 to sixty feet for Jöran 0.8927 for Jon, both driving through shake, 3.3548 to the eighth for Jon to Jöran's 3.4241, Jon's dragster suddenly moved left and got very close to the 990 foot reflector, he shut off at that point. Flash of flame and bang from Jöran's motor just past half track, 'chute out and the car moved hard left, close to the guardail in the shutdown area with the safety crews chasing him down. 0.8800 to sixty for Micke, tyres started to blackstripe and shake and he was off the throttle by 300 feet. Instant smoke at the hit for Anita.

Left turn for Kenneth at the hit, 1.0201 to sixty feet, stayed with it and pulled it straight, a nice run but still not racing tomorrow as things stand. Magnus' tyres visibly and audibly turned some before the car moved, 1.0804 to sixty feet to Jimmy's 0.9695, 4.2720/163.93 at the eighth for Jimmy and yesterday's 6.649 backed up for a European ET record, well done Jimmy! Magnus improved and made up a space but still spectating tomorrow. Jonas rolled the beams very slightly which will have affected his ET and again the motor was smoking all the way. An improvement and new PB for Harald but as things stand he is spectating tomorrow - one more chance to get in. Tommy pulled the front wheels up and the rear tyres shook as the car came back down and he had to pedal, still 1.0075 to sixty though. 1.0015 to sixty for Jan, 4.3724/203.33 to the eighth and a nice consistent pass. 1.0051 to sixty for Eero, 4.3650/162.31 at the eighth, and how about eight ten thousandths off yesterday's run! New Pb for Richard, well done Richard! 1.0097 to sixty feet, 4.3321/163.39 to the eighth. Nice run for Michael too but no improvement.

FIM/UEM Top Fuel Bike qualifying session 3 (left lane first):

Ian King 6.2254/226.74 bye; Rene van den Berg shut off, Otto Knebl 8.1199/163.06 bye; Michal Ponca 9.6319/134.42, Bob Brooks 7.9679/166.06; Steve Carey no time, Gary Jones 7.1793/191.24; Eric Teboul 8.6690/109.61, Steve Woollatt 6.4704/213.79; Kai Selkamäa 8.0208/125.45, Rikard Gustafsson 6.5658/206.09; Sverre Dahl 6.3890/218.24, Peter Svensson 6.0252/226.72

1.0781 to sixty for Ian, 4.1181/188.77 at the eighth, sounded a little rough but that seems to be a characteristic of that bike as I remember commenting on it before when the run has been quite OK. Rene shut off after firing up so Otto took the bye, 1.2945 to sixty, 5.1662 at the eighth, sounded to be misfiring and flames from the exhausts on the gear changes. Improvement for Michal but he is still propping up the field. Steve C left before the lights ran so what looked like a great run unfortuanely wasted. In the other lane a new PB for Gary Jones, well done Gary and Dave! Nice run for Steve W, 1.1581 to sixty and 4.2458/177.48 at the eighth, straight as you like as usual and one spot up the ladder. Eric had cylinders out all the way and shut off at about 800 feet. Kai got to sixty in 1.0664 but was on and off the throttle all the way whilst Rikard got to sixty in 1.1145, 4.2474/174.74 at the eighth. Great side-by-side for Sverre and Peter, 1.0494 to sixty for Peter to Sverre's 1.0938, 3.9670 to the eighth for Peter at a huge 194.18, 4.2260/184.21 for Sverre.

  12. Otto Knebl 8.0425/168.55

FIM/UEM Supertwin qualifying session 3 (left lane first):

Svein Olav Rolfstad no time, Roel Koedam 6.8751/185.83; Kari Rajata no time bye, Matti Vahasaari shut off; Chris Hannam 7.3644/146.21, Job Heezen 8.8861/111.38; Samu Kemppainen 7.8630/159.61, Jaska Salakari no time; Hans Olav Olstad shut off, Greger Johansson 18.5674/37.22; Lorenz Stäuble 6.6835/213.99, Per Bengtsson 6.7018/188.86

Svein Olav really had a fight with his bike, 1.1284 to sixty feet already heading to the right, eventually he crossed lanes, taking out the 990 foot reflector. Roel was in front so his time and speed are OK, 1.1357 to sixty feet and 4.4446/166.04 at the eighth. Matti shut off after the burnout so Kari took the bye, a flash of flame and small metal bits came off the motor. A small trail of fluid from the bike so we had a quick clean-up. Job not having a great weekend, again the vapour from the exhaust and shut off. 1.1731 to sixty for Cannon, 4.5053/159.61 at the eighth and shut off at about 1000 feet. Big bang and huge flame from Jaska's bike at the hit, probably a bit hot for Jaska for a moment but he is quite OK. 1.2660 to sixty feet for Samu and 4.9480/139.40 at the eighth. Hans Olav was shut off before staging for a fluid leak. 1.1451 to sixty feet for Greger and then a bang, probably the blower relief panel. Great side-by-side run for Lo and Per, 1.1901 to sixty for Lo to Per's 1.1126, 4.4310/176.99 at the eighth for Lo and 4.3305/170.81 for Per, Lo's bike moving right and Per's bike moving left, looked like they almost paid one another a visit towards the top end.

FIM/UEM Pro Stock Bike qualifying session 3 (left lane first):

Martin Newbury 7.9476/161.90, Richard Gipp 7.9971/147.21; Ray Debben 7.7954/168.54, Martin Bishop 7.5061/177.83; Gert-Jan Laseur 7.5216/167.30, Len Paget 7.5975/167.95; Fredrik Fredlund 7.2700/184.38, Dave Beck 7.2666/182.14; Anders Abrahamsson 7.1425/183.62, Ulf Ögge 7.1398/182.23

Great to see Richard back after his accident at Easter and back into the sevens immediately, taking the long way round! Improvement for Martin N but he stayed in place. Ray improved but also stayed in place. Identical 0.1142 RTs for Gert-Jan and Len, no improvement for either though. No improvements for Fredrik or Becky, I'm starting to think that the drop in air pressure since yesterday has something to do with this. Well, don't I talk rubbish...next run and a new European ET record for Ulf, well done Ulf! Also the quickest ever Pro Stock Bike race in Europe, well done Ulf and Anders!

Super Pro ET qualifying after session 9:

Leo van der Kuijl up from #20 to #2 in the first pairing. A bang and lots of smoke from John Bradshaw's Nissan, the top end safety crews rushed to his aid as the car sat at the finish line smoking quietly. A clean-up in John's lane, hopefully nothing serious amiss as John has a lot of sponsors here today. John Everitt up from #9 to #8 four pairs after the re-start. Next pair and Paul Marston moved up from #28 to #15. Three pairs later and Nick Good moved up from #20 to #8.

Pro ET qualifying after session 9:

Big move for Hans van der Spek, #32 to #12. Good to see Rick McCann back on the track after one of his and Carla's epic trips home to change the rear end. 10.111 on a 10.20 dial-in, looks fixed to me! Next pair and Matt Attwood moved from #19 to #9. 0.0467 on dial-in to be racing this evening at this point. Big move, #34 to #20, for Heide Page in the last pairing but two and that made it +0.0466 to be racing this evening. Mick Howling up from #32 to #21 and that made the bump spot +0.0447.

Good morning and welcome from Santa Pod Raceway for our coverage of the FIA European Finals brought to you in association with American Car Imports.

The Webster Race Engineering/Lex Joon Racing USA Tour 2009 webcam is on-line and is scheduled to post a picture every sixty seconds.

Another lovely day here at Santa Pod. Trackside conditions are 12.5 C, 89% humidity and 30.12 inches of air, track temperature to follow.

More Eurodragsterholics are standing up and admitting their addiction. A big Hello and Well Done to Darryl and Sarah Howells in Darwin, Australia; the Coulsell family in Tamworth; and Iain Burns in Dunstable. Ulf Lindqvist and Markus Ek are having a Eurodragsterholics support group meeting in Sweden with some other guys who are not quite ready to identify themselves yet. Hope you are enjoying the coverage guys.

I don't know quite how we're going to follow yesterday's epic events but you just know that the racers will give it everything they've got. We start at 9:00 with Sportsman qualifying, then as yesterday the Pro sessions are 10:30 and 14:30, then the first round of eliminations in Pro ET and Super Pro ET. Tune back at 9:00 and we'll bring you the numbers.
