9.50 Bike qualifying session 3: Richard Beck up to #5 and Wayne Saunders up to #6 in the third pairing. Augy Harrison up to #3 in the last bu oen pairing but in the other lane Dave Hall took over #1 spot. Richard Sawatzki gave it a good go at getting #1 back with a 9.5063 but not quite enough.

VW Pro qualifying session 3: Phil Norman into #1 in the first pairing with a great 12.7580 on a 12.75 dial-in. Brian Burrows up to #3 in the next pairing. Matt Attwood took #1 spot in the following match-up, things tightening up at the top now.

That's qualifying done for today. We're now going to work on today's pictures so stay tuned and we'll be back with those in a little while. 19:10 Super Modified qualifying session 3: Tim Garlick up from #5 to #4 in the first pairing, Nigel Payne robbed of an improvement by tyre shake but the ET very close to his current weekend best so when the shake is sorted out there is more to come. An improvement for Belinda Bull, I'm thinking maybe a PB, but she stayed in #3 at that point. Craig Gibbs up to #4 and Rob Smallworth up to #6 in the final pairing of the session.

18:25 VW Pro qualifying session 2: Improvements for Phil Norman and Matt Attwood moved them up the field to #3 and #2 respectively, Brian Burrows into the ladder with his first run after fitting a new clutch. A very squirrelly run for Matt Dane but still up a place into #7.

VW Sportsman qualifying session 2: A big improvement for Polly Naylor moved her up the field in the first pairing, #3 at that point. Two pairings later Helen Williams made a move from #16 to #9. Next pairing and Abi Tether made a big move from #14 to #5 at that point. #12 to #2 for Chris Bray in the next pair, followed by #13 to #7 for Jacob Bailey. A change of car for Paul Herbert after breaking his Beetle this morning.

18:00 B&H Automotive/LA Racing Parts Street Eliminator qualifying session 2: A great run for Mats Andersson, a new PB we believe, 9.6786 - well done Mats! Mats' displayed speed of 174 mph probably dodgy. An improvement for Jeff Meads and #3 at that point. Andy Frost into #1 spot and the first half of a new speed record, 189.60 even with a pedal, well done Andy! An improvement for Mark Todd good for #5. Colin Lazenby took #1 spot back from Andy in the last run of the session with a finely-judged pass, very little spin off the line.

Super Modified qualifying session 2: Improvements for Tim Garlick and Belinda Bull but they stayed in #4 and #2 place respectively. Andy Hone on his first run of the weekend after failing to make the bleach box first session, Martin Curbishley alongside. Andy straight in at #1 pushing Martin down to #6 even though he improved. Nigel consolidating his #2 spot and Simon improving but staying in #7 running right on the centre line for a fair way. Tim Mugridge's motor sounded to stop off the line, but he made it through to the top end on idle, 24.0977 tells the tale of that one.
