Chris Mott on new NAST Supertwin Gas ET and speed records if he can back them up, well done Motty! Chris thinks that this may have beaten the world best for a V-Rod motor too. He does all of this after putting Eurodragster.com decals on his bike, a fact we present without comment.

Graham Balchin blew his Personal Best into next week and took #1 spot, well done Graham! Steve Venables in the other lane improved but had to take #2 spot to Graham. A close thing in the pairing between Eurodragster.com News sponsor Jamie Sneddon and Ian Cotton as Jamie crossed lanes right in front of Ian, you could almost read Ian's surprise from here but both racers kept their heads and avoided one another.

We're now going into an hour of Straightliners, tune back in an hour and we'll bring you the results from eliminations.

A tremendous match between Neil Midgley and Tim Blakemore to open the session, improvements for both, Neil getting the jump but Tim riding through shake you could feel here in Race Control and getting there first by 0.0026 or 8.98 inches and into #1 spot, I believe a Personal Best ET for Tim, well done Tim! Good morning and welcome from Santa Pod Raceway for our coverage of the Extreme Performance Bike Weekend presented in association with American Car Imports.

The Webster Race Engineering/MPM Oil webcam is on-line and is set to post a picture every sixty seconds until the track closes tonight.

A big raceday Hello to our US correspondents Ed O'Connell and Kathy Hileman who are tuned in from Rye, NH. Hope you are having a great weekend guys.

The weather here is I'd say perfect. Hazy sunshine, feels mild. Right now it's 14.8 C and 29.91 inches of air, the weather station sensor is waterlogged from overnight so we'll sort that out and bring you the full conditions later. Track temperature is 14.0 C.

Word from Race Director Ian Marshall is that we are to have an extra cycle of qualifying this morning after we lost a cycle yesterday. Then we have an hour of Straightliners, and then we'll be into eliminations.

We'll be on the way very soon, stay tuned.
