Ben of the start line crew checking over Julian Webb's jet engine before his first run of the day in Split Second. By the end of the day Julian had run 155.75 mph.

This morning we had a huge oildown from a VW and the track crew leapt into action...

...this stuff including the top of a piston and part of the bore stayed behind on the start line when the VW launched.

The very pretty Dangerine Beetle came all the way from Belgium for VW Action.

"I don't want this, you have it".

Dan Larsen laid down a good burnout and then in a bizarre-looking pass hazed the tyres almost all the way down the quarter mile to a 6.991/141.97 in his Top Methanol FC.

Linda Thun Tønseth went for the full pass in Rune Fjeld's Top Fueller but cylinders went out at about 330 feet and she clicked off to a 5.729/184.53 having clocked 213.96 at half track.

Matthew Seamarks is not applauding his burnout but signalling that he's not happy with something on his Junior Dragster. He was happier at the end of the day with a 0.001 RT and a 7.963/81.85.

The Herron brothers are sitting out Junior Dragster competition this year but made a number of runs today.

Santa Pod Raceway's own Junior Dragsters were again very busy.

This guy, known as JCV, attends every RWYB and spends the day hot-lapping.

We had a Pro Mod mini-qualifier and Roger Johansson shook...

...and Mats Eriksson shook...

...and Ian Bishop shook...

...and Micke Gullquist shook.

Martin Hill brought down the house with Fireforce 3. He also brought down the timing computer so no numbers for this run.

...then Patrick Wikström did his burnout and then he shook...

Micke Nord being seen back from his burnout.

...then Micke Nord shook. On his last run today Micke's Mustang started to drift then made a violent move to the right; Micke put the chutes out and clocked 6.743/146.40.

Pro ET rookie Simon Rowland and his team must be candidates for Most Professional Appearing Team.

Simon is having the time of his life.

Toby Wright has a real handle on his Porsche Speedster and ran several consistent mid-elevens today.

Patrick Wikström is happy to be back in the seat of the OFAB Thriller Pro Mod...

...this run was a 6.483 with a pedal and then Patrick rounded off the day with a 6.377/222.79.

Mats Eriksson hit shake on his final pass of the day and backed off, this run was an 8.466/109.17.

Simon Rowland clocked a couple of 9.563s and is all set for Pro ET competition next weekend.

Micke Gullquist blasted an early shut off 6.291/208.31 on his last run of the day.

Roger Johansson's Mustang pulled up the wheels then the tyres shook on his penultimate run of the day. On his last run Roger hit shake again.

Dan Larsen laid down a nice 5.839/244.70 to round off his weekend's testing.
