Anders Abrahamsson moved into #2 spot in Pro Stock Bike in today's second session. Petri Kalttonen's Supertwin is a very nice piece of work and is currently #4. Jonas Dantanus' aim was to get into the sixes at some point this weekend and he did it off the trailer in the first Pro Stock qualifier. Michael Malmgren set a new Pro Stock speed record of 203.59 mph in today's second qualifying session. Andy Carter is on a new European Top Fuel ET record of 4.703. Kjell Sjöblöm ran a Personal Best of 5.9838 in Top Methanol FC qualifying. Ulf Leanders' 5.8118 leads Top Methanol FC at the end of day one of Pro qualifying. Rob Turner heads up the Top Methanol Dragster field with a 5.5348. Krister Johansson's Top Methanol Dragster was pumping raw fuel from the headers on both runs today. Norbert Kuno blasted a 6.3251 in Pro Mod qualifying which has got to be close to a Personal Best. Gary Page made his familiarisation pass in Kenneth Lorentzon's Fuel FC and got to sixty feet in 0.9841 seconds. Roger Goring made the first of today's two Jet demonstrations and clocked 6.2179/256.08. Rasmus Olessen is currently tenth in Pro Stock Bike. Ken Cooper already looks at home on Paul Watson's Pro Stock Bike. Per Bengtsson's Supertwin is not called The Beast for nothing...it shakes everything for a large radius. Günther Sohn leads Supertwin with a brace of storming 6.6s. Eric Teboul blasted a 6.2089 in the second session to take the Top Fuel Bike lead. Søren Hartvig is currently in the Top Fuel Bike field with his Funny Bike. Steve French is similarly in the top eight at #7 with his Funny Bike. A little bird told us that Steve Woollatt is "Going for it" tomorrow. A 6.3700 was a pretty good start off the trailer! A nice burnout by Micke Callin in Pro Stock qualifying although Leah Hinchcliffe seems to have found something else to look at. One of Stig Neergaard's parachutes fell out after the burnout in the second Top Fuel qualifying session. Jöran Persåker clocked his first-ever four-second pass, tuned by Peter Lantz and Morgan Svensson ten years after they did the same for Kent Persson. Steph Milam is working her way bacl to form with a 6.3 in Top Methanol FC qualifying. Peter Schöfer is currently second in Top Methanol Dragster qualifying. After missing out at the Veidec Festival due to the badly-timed arrival of a child, Niclas Andersson set a new Personal Best ET in Pro Mod qualifying. Marc Meihuizen also set a new Personal Best in Pro Mod session 2 and is second at 6.2601. Fellow Dutchman Robert Joosten is fourth in Pro Mod qualifying, also in the 6.2s.
