	Real Steel Street Eliminator racer Pete Smith made his first pass in his rebuilt Just Mental 'Vette but has hurt the engine and is out for the weekend.		Our Swedish Junior Dragster visitors Linus Wallbert and Pontus Dantanus paired up in one session.
	Jason Macan is third in 9.50 Bike at the end of his first day of racing.		Nigel Barker led Super Street Bike after session one on his rebuilt Hayabusa. He ended today fourth.
	Steve Partis got his Sportsman ET licence last week and is third at the end of today. In the other lane is Lee Hollis, another newbie, in his huge Dodge Ram.		Polly Naylor is a new name to us and she fared well in today's VW Sportsman qualifying.
	Neil Ellis is third of three in VW Pro so far.		Mark Skeen is 0.0781 off his dial-in to lead VW Alternate Engine.
	Spencer Tramm wanted to run an eight for dad Steve's birthday tomorrow but he blasted into the eights in Comp Eliminator qualifying today.		Andy Kirk's son Lee has flown home from Bahrain to call the shots on the Rat Fink Super Mod.
	Steve Harrington returned to Super Comp competition.		Len Paget unveiled the world's only GSX1000 K7-bodied Pro Stock Bike.
	Jessica and Jennifer Gustafsson will be sharing the driving of Jonas Dantanus' Super Street Challenger.		Neil Midgley now owns and rides the Funny Bike originally imported by Chris Hannam.
	Sascha Brodbeck's Harley Destroyer, racing in Comp Bike this weekend, comes complete with factory option wheelie bars.		Christer Uhlin has come all the way from Norway to compete in Super Gas as this is the first round of the Nordic Drag Racing Series as well as the UK Championship.
	Frank Bennett's newly-named Relentless NFAA altered also has a great new paintjob.		Rick McCann has been consorting with the birdies in today's Pro ET qualifying.
	Antony Wilkins took the long way round in the first Pro ET session but the pick-up was running straight and true by session three.		Dave Smith proved to be the dark horse in Super Street Bike, seeing Steve Venables' 7.6 and raising him a 7.5.
	It's black, it's got flames, the burnout is long and smoky...it can only be Freddy Fagerström in his new Top Methanol FC.		Eurodragster.com sponsor Derek Flynn made his first outing in his new Top Methanol Dragster.
	Jonas Dantanus was also trying out a new ride, in this case his Grand Am Pro Stock which is this weekend running in Comp Eliminator.		Steve Turner looked like he'd been driving the Turner Motorsport Top Methanol Dragster all his life.
	Martin Hill's throttle slams seemed particularly fierce today.		The world's only dragster driven by two people at once: Pete and Ed Yates drive the Ramraider Wild Bunch slingshot.
	Dave Ward has moved up to Super Pro ET this weekend.		We always wondered what Dave Cherrett's Dark Revenger would run flat-out instead of in Super Street mode and the answer was a nine-second pass in Pro ET qualifying.
	Phil Leamon ended today in third place in Comp Bike qualifying.		Steve Bolton matched some of Rick McCann's Pro ET wheelies.
