Today's photos have now been posted and are available from the event index page.

That's the end of our coverage of the FIA Main Event; thanks very much for tuning in and thank you for understanding as we have coped with a difficult situation today. I am sure you will join us in wishing Tog a speedy recovery and in saying a huge thank you to the APMS paramedics for their help.

Finally Sharkman would like to say a special thanks to two people without whom todays report would not have happened. Our pit reporter Simon Groves stepped up to race reporting and never missed a beat and Eric Zettervall gave up a day watching the racing to spot for Simon and generally help out. Thank You both very much for your efforts.

Our next live Event Coverage will be from the SPRC Summer Nationals at Santa Pod Raceway in three weeks time.

This weekend's Event Coverage has been brought to you in association with American Car Imports.

Word is that Tog has been taken to the local hospital in Bedford for observation.

09:00

Good Morning and welcome to race day here at the FIA Main Event. Please bear with us today as Tog is currently under observation in the medical centre after suffering heart palpitations in the early hours of the morning. He hopes to be rejoining us shortly as he cannot stand the tea they serve in the medical centre... In the mean time Simon is steping into the breach and covering the live reports, race day at the Main Event is not the best time to be breaking in a new race reporter but we will do the best we can.
