Sharkman's pitside pictures have now been posted; you can view them via the Event Index page.

Tune back tomorrow and we will bring you all the news from the Run What You Brung, and we will also take a turn around the pits and have a few words with the racers. See you then!

16:30

If you've been tuned in to the webcam then you will have seen that it's been more or less incessant rain all day today, and even though the track crew were straight into action in the very brief moments when the rain paused, the event was called at 4:30. Right now it is hailing and we can't see past the finish line!

Sharkman took a number of pictures in the pits so tune back in a couple of hours and we will have those posted.

Good morning and welcome from Santa Pod Raceway on the first day of testing for next weekend's FIA Main Event. There is already an impressive number of racers in the pits and we're here to bring you all the news in association with American Car Imports.

The Webster Race Engineering/MPM Oil webcam is on-line and is broadcasting a picture every two minutes.

All of Eurodragster.com's Main Event Week coverage is dedicated to the memory of the late David Elden, who was a clutch technician on the Carbon By Design Top Fuel Dragster team. David passed away in February after bearing a long illness with good humour, bravery and dignity, but he will always be remembered.

Don't forget that we are giving Eurodragster.com readers the chance to choose next weekend's webcam location. We have the webcam over the centre line looking up the track today, and tomorrow it will be looking over the staging area, and we will then run a vote on Eurodragster.com starting on Monday to choose the location for the race.

As you can probably see from the webcam, it is raining right now which is going to hold up the start of festivities. Stay tuned and as soon as things get going we will be right here with all the news.
