The European Finals just wouldn't be the same without "The Professor" Al O'Connor in Super Gas.

Bob Doignie drives his Toyota Celica to the track and then bolts on slicks to run in Super Street.

Bob Lees pocketed the £50 Eurodragster.com / Speedflow Perfect Light Award. Not the first time Bob has had our money!

Chris Isaacs has the nitrous on this weekend to enable him to run in Super Comp.

Our Scandinavian friends will hopefully be seeing Chris Johnson next year. Chris told our pit reporter Simon that he is hoping to run at Mantorp Park in 2006.

Chris Reed managed a naughty 8.68 in the final session of 9.50 Bike, but his previous 9.510 makes him the number one qualifier at the end of today. That's one embarrassed Hyena!

Collin Morrice showed the sort of form which has won him championships in the past with a 0.001 reaction time to take the top spot in Junior Dragster.

Both dads have run six seconds at over 200 mph but you get the idea that Bruno Bader and Doug Bond enjoy watching their daughters racing as much as doing it themselves.

Dave Cherrett has actually managed to stay the right side of the Super Street index for most of the day. He has not calmed down the launch though.

Ian Petrie had a good run and won the Ultimate Power Championship at the Allstar Nationals, and is number one qualifier in Sportsman ET after today's five sessions.

Jessica Selles and her crew focus intently on the Christmas Tree.

Nice to see John Sleath and the Audi racing again. An 8.302 on an 8.30 dial-in puts the street-legal car in the top qualifiying spot.

Ken Blomer's VW Karmen Ghia looks superb in its new paint, but we didn't see him again after oil was found in the shutdown area after his first pass.

Period-style sign writing has perfectly finished off Lee Darby's immaculate truck.

Malcolm Francis achieved one of his goals in the first session of Super Comp when he ran a very naughty 7.756.

The now traditional wheels up launches from Malcolm Motler's Morris pick-up don't hurt the consistency, Malcolm is the current number one in Pro ET with a 10.312 on a 10.31.

Mark O'Halloran seems to have benefited from testing as a string of 9.9s were topped with a 9.901 which was good for number one spot in Super Gas.

Martin Curbishley waited until the final session of the day before nicking the Super Comp top qualifying spot with a 8.907.

Martin Hill once again had the tower rocking courtesy of his jet's afterburner before cracking off a 6.088.

A welcome return from Mick Payne whose one run today netted a lazy-looking 8.250 from the big, bad blown Dodge.

Pat Talbot made one normally-aspirated pass before the gas went on her Super Pro ET dragster, but on the third pass transmission problems set in off the line.

Paul Marston has had the Insanity Vega running spot-on all day with a 0.001 Reaction Time and number one qualifying spot in Super Street with a 10.902.

Paul Webster got as high as number five qualifier during the day but was bumped down again in later sessions.

Per Mikkelsen has gone no less than 0.783 seconds under the index with his beautiful Shoebox.

Simon Barlow had a good day with a Personal Best ET of 10.403, a new Personal Best wheelie, and third qualifying spot.

Simon Farmer is one of several refugees from other classes running in Super Pro ET.

Unfortunately our good friend Spencer Tramm's weekend has come to an early end, Spencer trailering the car as the motor was "making funny noises".

Tim Garlick has run low eights in his Super Mod but with no dial-in on the car he has been running against the Super Pro 6.30 minimum.
