A revised running order for today has been issued which you can see via our Event Index, it shows that FIA/FIM-E eliminations are planned to take place, along with the title sponsor's Summit Racing Equipment Super Pro ET and Pro ET shootouts for a cash prize. Commiserations to all sportsman racers, but the conditions are simply not conducive to running a full programme of eliminations.

09:45

Good morning and welcome to our coverage of day 4 of the Summit Racing Equipment Internationals from Tierp Arena. The weather has been a factor in the event so far, with not a wheel turned on Thursday and numerous stoppages for drizzle and showers Friday and yesterday. Today we awoke to light rain which has been falling for several hours. The radar however shows that the rain will stop in about an hour's time and then we can hopefully get the track dried and eliminations under way. We will let you know any change to the planned running order. For the record the current conditions are 15C rising to 19C with 8mph wind from the southeast.

Yesterday was a day of frustration for practically everyone with a damp atmosphere even when it wasn't drizzling. It was compounded by a couple of lengthy oil-downs but fortunately no incidents apart from TMD racer Silvio Strauch paying a visit to the gravel trap; Silvio told us that the car has been cleaned and will be ready for eliminations. The sum total for everyone is three qualifying sessions, a couple more would have seen some great runs but it wasn't to be.

Greetings to Eurodragsterholics everywhere, please send in your comments on the coverage which we are always seeking to improve. Kieran has posted two great galleries and also has a lot of video footage which he will post on his Mk1Kieran Youtube channel. We are also grateful to Lena Perés for providing additional photos including some people shots. Hi to colleagues Julian, Kirstie and former editor Tog, thanks for those who have been proofreading the reports too.

Happy Birthday to Top Fuel Bike team manager Chris 'Cannon' Hannam who we know has had better birthdays, we send commiserations and best wishes for rider Neil Midgley who has been released from hospital following his Friday accident. Birthday greetings to 8.50 Bike racer Ian Chrichlow and back up girl Charlotte Cook-Abbott, we hope you have a great day.

Track sweeping and drying has commenced, we'll be back with an update later.
