Good morning and welcome to our coverage of day 2 of the Summit Racing Equipment Internationals from Tierp Arena. The weather is glorious with clear skies and temperature of 20C rising to 21C and wind of 9mph from the north. Density altitude is 1000-1300ft, better than yesterday with water grains in the high 60s.

We had a great day of hard contested sportsman qualifying yesterday. You can see our report and yesterday's gallery via the event index. One memorable event which came too late for us to cover was Pro Modified racer David Vegter proposing on the startline to girlfriend and now fiancee Elin Lindegren. Elin said "Yes" and David and his team were delighted. Best wishes for a long and happy future together for David and Elin.

Greetings to Eurodragsterholics tuned into our coverage. Today will be the first two sessions of FIA/FIM-E qualifying and we will bring you all the news and qualifying orders for these classes. Happy Birthdays to Super Gas racer and BDRHoF 2022 inductee Jon Morton, VW Sportsman racer Jon Crawford, returning Super Pro ET racer Billy Everitt and Nostalgia Superstock racer Shelby Watts. Have a great day all.

Finally racers here at Tierp are reminded of the VP Racing Fuels seminar being held after racing tonight starting at 20:30 to 21:00 in the main building behind the startline. Freddie Turza, R&D manager for the company has flown over specially and will give us the benefit of his experience and a Q&A session too.

Join us at 09:00 for sportsman Q4. FIA/FIM-E sessions are timetabled for 12:00 and 16:00. Also follow the link on the Event Index page to the live stream which will include live driver interviews and multi camera production (subscription applies).
