Then, as the crew rushed to stop him, Jöran got reverse and backed over the chutes. Crew got to him moments later and signalled him to shut off. Engine note of Timo's dragster dropped to a groan in the burnout but can't have been an issue as it kept running and Timo was quickly back at the start line. Yimo's tyres up in smoke at the hit and a ball of flame, 1.2572 to sixty already off the gas. Good morning and welcome from Tierp Arena for our coverage of the Tierp Internationals brought to you in association with John Woolfe Racing.

It is again a nice day here; sun and high cloud and right now no breeze. Race officials have already inspected the track and spraying is underway now.

A big Good Morning to the Eurodragsterholics, and a big Thank You for your support. If you are tuned in from your day jobs again today then please be careful not to get yourselves fired for reading our reports.

The plan for today's coverage is the usual real-time reports throughout the day, Simon's pit notes updated throughout the day, and a photo gallery at the end of the day courtesy of our good friends Lena Perés and Remco Scheelings. As you can see, and as is usual for our coverage at Tierp Arena, we are using the popular split screen format for our reports showing our commentaries on one side and results, courtesy of Time-Tree, on the other. For Sportsman classes we will concentrate on the commentaries to add colour to the standings at right but Pro classes will receive the usual full treatment.

Yesterday's gallery was posted quite late in the evening but if you have not already seen it then you can check it out via the Event Index. Again thank you to Remco and Lena for the free use of their cameras' memory cards.

Nitroz TV and Tierp Arena are broadcasting free Web TV from this event. Broadcast is scheduled to commence at 09:00 local each day, and will continue so long as the track is open. You can find a direct link to the Web TV on the Event Index page.

You can check out today's provisional running order via the Event Index; thanks to Marie Selander for passing it on to us. The running order today has two cycles of Sportsman qualifying then EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Q1 at 12:50, FIA classes Q1 at 13:50, another cycle of Sportsman qualifying, then Pros Q2 starting with the bikes at 16:50. Junior Dragsters have been called to the lanes for 08:50 and I suspect that we will stop for nothing.

Stay tuned and keep hitting Refresh and as soon as the wheels start to turn we'll start to bring you the news.
