We have now posted today's pictures, seventy five in all; this is not the first time we have posted a gallery from a restaurant but this is the first post from a branch of McDonalds, which is in Uppsala.

We are indebted to our good buddy Markus Ek for again kindly supplying Pro Modified, Pro Test and Tune and a couple of Pro pitside shots since your reporter was doing the live reports when the Pros ran.

You can check out today's pictures via the Event Index page; if you do not see all seventy five pictures when you load the Sunday gallery then please click on your Browser's Refresh button.

You can find the NDRS Nationals final results and full ladders on Nitroz.se. We would like to say another big Thank You to Lelle and his team for their help and facilities today.

We are now going to work on today's pictures but it may be a while before they are posted since we will need to get out of the timing crew's way as they pack away. We will of course post an update here when the pictures are posted, plus a Twitter and Facebook update.

1.1293 to sixty for Ulf, 5.0896/216.17 at the eighth, the gear changes were clean but the motor sounded a little sluggish. Great run from Greger to round off his day, 1.1610 to sixty feet, 4.600/262.52 to the eighth, a straight run with the front wheel in the air for a long way and the occasional nitro flame visible even in the strong sunlight. Nice full pass for Trond, too, 1.2139 to sixty and 4.7949/247.14 at the eighth. Hard right move and the bike tried to throw Petri off, at that point you could pretty much read his thoughts, "Not my bike" and he shut it off. 0.9989 to sixty feet for Peter, then the rear tyre went up in smoke about 200 feet out, shut it off at that point.

1.0925 to sixty for Jan, sounded like second gear was a long time coming but all the other shifts were good - the ET would tend to confirm that something wasn't quite right. 4.6196/247.71 at the eighth. Fantastic run for Jimmy, the car squatted down and disappeared into the distance. 0.0651 RT, 1.0264 to sixty feet and really moving at the eighth, 4.3706/263.03. Everyone else in Pro Stock has been warned I think. Shake and a pedal for Jonas then back on it and giving it both barrels, 4.5411/250.23 at the eighth and then shut off and chutes out before the stripe. Short pedalled burnout for Linda, I could be wrong but maybe taking it easy because of the borrowed camshaft. 1.0365 to sixty feet and then shut off as the car moved towards the centre line - I think that was just a planned launch anyway and the team looked happy with it. 100-foot burnout for Adam but then shut off for a fluid leak on the way back. Leak fixed, Adam returned alongside Tami Brander. Shake for Adam and shut off as the car approached the guardrail, Tami drove through shake and got there first shutting off before the stripe; lost the incrementals on that one as the timing crew needed your reporter's screen for more pressing matters. Freddy and Per traded long burnouts, then a fantastic race, 0.9924 to sixty for Per, 1.0581 for Freddy who hit shake and guess what, he didn't shut off as the pick-up veered towards the guardrail, just wrenched it back but did lose some time to the shake. Per's Demon moved to the right and I think I heard a brief pedal but the car really picked up after that. 4.6461/287.69 to the eighth for Freddy, 4.1642/283.46 for Per. Good to see the Leanders Brothers back on the track this side of the Pond. Nice launch, 0.9655 to sixty feet and going great guns to about 120 feet when shake kicked in and the car moved for the centre line. Initially Ulf stayed with it but then shut off before the eighth, 4.5416/188.35. Another superb run for Leif, like he's never been away! 1.0010 to sixty feet, 3.8084/323.16 at the eighth. Björn got the tyres to light in the burnout and much less of the smoke and fuel on the way back. Tyres immediately up in smoke, Race Control shook, Björn got straight off the gas, 1.5069 to sixty feet. Nice burnout for Micke but no reverse despite the efforts of his crew so they pushed the car back to the start line. That was probably the end of any thought of making a full pass. 0.9384 to sixty feet, the tyres looked to be shaking just the tiniest bit and Micke shut it off about 300 feet.

15:10

NDRS Bilsport Pro Modified final

Micke Lindahl 6.1234/383.80 def. Roger Johansson 6.2903/372.16

Micke away fist 0.0276 to 0.0913, Roger's tyres just started to shake and then break traction with little puffs of smoke, betrayed by his sixty foot time of 1.1236 to Micke's 1.0517. A quick pedal and then back on it but Micke was way ahead by then, 4.0395/297.68 at the eighth to 4.1709/297.03. Right on the finish line a large number of what looked like pieces of bodywork flew into the air from Roger's car.

13:25

NDRS Bilsport Pro Modified eliminations round 2

Roger Johansson 6.3779/358.09 def. Mats Eriksson 10.1604/147.50

Mats looked to get the jump but the timing data doesn't lie and there was a clear RT lead for Roger 0.0808 to 0.1191. Mats hit shake almost immediately, 1.2228 to sixty feet, Roger off and running 1.0422. Mats pedalled and gave it another go but Roger was already vanishing into the distance and Mats was off it before half track. Roger went through the eighth 4.1795/288.62 and looked and sounded from here as if he shut off a touch before the stripe. The first alternate goes into the final.

Micke Lindahl 6.1250/381.09 def. Jan Gunnarsson 9.2384/169.81

Jan hit bad shake at the hit, 1.2754 to sixty feet to Micke's front left wheel up (again) 1.0512. Jan pedalled and tried again with the driver side door flapping but the car headed for the centre line and he shut it off. No mistake from Micke, 4.0312/296.54 at the eighth and into the final.

Pro Test and Tune session 3 (left lane first)

Ulf Ögge (Pro Stock Bike) 7.7340/279.21 bye; Greger Johansson 7.6469/277.63 bye; Trond Høiberget no time bye; Petri Kalttonen 7.9070/287.08 bye; Peter Svensson 6.0887/330.68 bye; Kalle Lyrén (Pro Stock Bike) 8.0380/259.62 bye

Micke Callin 21.7306/54.10, Jan Palmqvist 6.8068/326.28; Jonas Dantanus (Pro Stock) 9.1191/169.33, Jimmy Ålund 7.9799/191.90; Thomas Lindström 21.3498/50.20 bye; Per Svedberg shut off bye; Linda Thun Tønseth (Pro Modified) 16.9220/67.19 bye; Björn Mårtensson (Top Fuel Dragster) 12.1399/99.69 bye; Micke Kågered 7.8192/125.12 bye; Leif Andréasson 5.6788/404.49 bye

Ulf here on the Buell PSB today, we understand that his absence yesterday was due to a motor breaking on the dyno. A momentary hesitation off the line then stayed on it all the way although sounded as if the throttle wasn't full on. Hesitation off the line too for Greger's Supertwin, then shut off in the second half. Trond went about three feet and his motor cut out and he rolled to a halt at about 250 feet. Petri to sixty feet in a lazy-sounding 1.2381, then got off and back on the throttle, coming slowly off the gas in the second half. Fantastic run for Peter, 1.0391 to sixty feet and then 3.9999/318.02 at the eighth, from here it looked as if a belt came loose just before the stripe. First look at Kalle Lyrén's new bike and it's a real looker. 1.2370 to sixty feet and 5.1384/219.87 at the eighth, bike went straight, good checkout pass.

Micke C hit bad shake and shut off before the Tree. 1.0125 to sixty for Jan and 4.3721/260.87 at the eighth, a puff of smoke from the car at about 1000 feet but obviously not a problem since he stayed with it. 1.0974 to sixty feet for Jonas on his first run this weekend, 1.0335 for Jimmy. Jonas hit shake and was off the pedal for quite some time before getting back on it for 100 yards or so. 4.5302/222.22 to the eighth for Jimmy then shut off, motor changed to the primary overnight so I am guessing a planned shut-off. Long wait to stage for Thomas whilst his crew adjusted the wheelie bars, then awful shake at the hit and the car turned left, Thomas quickly off the throttle and rolled through. Per's tuner Scotty Cannon told us earlier that the team were getting all of their growing pains out of the way this weekend. Nice sixty foot burnout by Per but then had to shut off for a fluid leak. Linda's first run in the Undertaker Pro Mod after a cam broke in the warm-up yesterday. The tyres didn't light on the burnout but stuck to the track on launch, 1.1431 to sixty feet and that was on and off the throttle, shut off 150 feet or so out. Licencing pass for former Fuel Altered racer Björn. Tyres didn't light on the burnout then a lot of smoke and unburnt fuel on the back-up. Tyres up in smoke at the hit and a grunting noise from the motor, think I heard the blower panel blow as well. Micke K's team were very pleased with their couple of runs yesterday and were going to add some more ignition today if the conditions warranted. Consistent 0.9100 sixty foot time but then shake and the tyres started to break traction and Micke shut it off. Fantastic run for Leif, quicker than the European Et record and that's the track record pretty safe for a while I'd say: 0.9751 to sixty feet, no sign of shake, 3,7415/328.47 at the eighth. Big cloud of smoke right on the finish line and smoke all the way down the shutdown area, the track checked and found to be OK.

The traditional raceday Hello to our US Correspondents Ed O'Connell and Kathy Hileman who are tuned in from Rye. Get those lists finished guys and get your stuff together and we can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks.

NDRS Bilsport Pro Modified eliminations round 1

Mats Eriksson 6.6390/365.11 def. Freddy Fagerström 6.8730/374.22

Almost a half-track burnout by Freddy and then backing up faster than most of us go forwards. Clean launch for Mats, 1.0067 to sixty feet to Freddy's shaky 1.3206. A couple of pedals for Freddy and the chase was on, but Mats was way in front despite having had to pedal it himself, 4.3865 at the half to Freddy's 4.7369

Micke Lindahl 6.1494/379.21 def. Urban Johansson 6.2179/378.15

A great race. Urban got the jump and had the much quicker sixty foot time 0.9880 to 1.0447, but in all the noise I think I heard Urban pedal it once. Micke was off and running, front left wheel in the air but straight down the middle of his lane, 4.0460 at the eighth to Urban's 4.1097. Urban wasn't giving up but Micke had him covered.

Jan Gunnarson 6.4064/387.93 def. Adam Flamholc 9.6122/148.76

Adam visibly moved first, 1.0670 to sixty feet to Jan's 1.0615. Both then hit bad shale and pedalled, Adam's car moved towards the centre line and he shut it off just before the eighth. Incrementals disappeared a bit quickly for me to get the eighth times.

Roger Johansson 6.2383/364.62 def. Tami Brander 7.0274/275.65

Roger in as an alternate for Johan Lindberg, Johan out with head damage caused by a broken valve (we're talking the cylinder head you understand, not Johan's head). Tami away first 0.0624 to 0.0116, Roger had the better sixty foot time 1.0211 to 1.0578. Tami drove through shake but was losing time, Roger to the eighth in 4.0802 to Tami's 4.3965. Tami shut it off just after half track.
