UEM Pro Stock Bike final

Jesper Thiel winner 7.134 sec/295 km / Kalle Lyrén 7.249 sec/292 km. Nice straight run for both

UEM Supertwin final

Roel Koedam winner 7.773 sec/245 km / Jaska Salakari broke on the line

UEM Top Fuel Bike final

Petri Paljakka winner 7.947 sec/ 305 km / Samu Kemppainen broke/noshow.

FIA Pro Stock final

Jimmy Ålund winner 6.813 sec/328 km / Thomas Lindström redlight 15.09 sec/88 km

FIA Pro Modified final

Mats Eriksson winner 6.125 sec/386 km / Michael Gullqvist 5.988 sec / 386 km. The run was won on the line. Gullqvist 60-foot 0.976 and the run the quickest in Pro Mod all weekend, but the win goes to Mats Eriksson who has been running consistent too all weekend.

FIA Top Fuel Dragster final

Tommy Johnson Jr winner 4.185 sec/433 km / Antti Horto redlight. The car jumped and redlit the tree. ET 5.169 sec/400 km

FIA Top Methanol Dragster final

Fred Hanssen winner 5.370 sec / 415 km / Dave Wilson tires spin off the line and tried to pedal ET 8.897 sec/ 175 km. Second win in a row for Hanssen, well done Will Hanna, Fred and crew!

With that the team on site says thank you for this weekend from long but exciting weekend at Alastaro! Åsa Kinnemar, Lena Perés, Patrik Jacobsson, Aila Striem and Dave Alexander.

FIA Top Methanol Dragster eliminations round 2

Dave Wilson bye run stages and get the green light, then pushes back the car. That is OK according to the regulations when having a bye run

Fred Hanssen winner 5.447 sec/ 411 km / Derek Flynn 6.37 sec / 265 km. Flynn first from the line 0.091 reaction and 0.932 60-foot against Hanssens 0.167 reaction and 0.959 60-foot. Flynn lost traction mid track and Hanssen came thundering from behind.

Final will be Wilson against Hanssen

FIA Top Methanol Funny Car final

Ulf Leanders winner 5.710 sec/398 km / Arvid Grødem 6.047 sec/385 km

With the win in methanol funny car preliminary point standings show Leanders and Grødem both have 169 points and are in the lead while Staflund is 3rd at 128 points

FIA Pro Modified eliminations round 3

Marc Meihuizen 6.218 sec/356 km / Mats Eriksson winner 6.119 sec/373 km. Nice side by side race.

Bruno Bader disqualified after crossing the center line last run vs Lindberg and Lindberg was reinstated to meet Gullqvist.

Michael Gullqvist winner 6.001 sec/386 km / Johan Lindberg 6.829 sec/232 km. Storming run for Gullqvist who had a 0.034 light against Lindbergs 0.202 Gullqvist just saying before the run he needed to improve the reaction times.

Final will be Gullqvist against Eriksson with lane choice for Gullqvist

UEM Supertwin eliminations round 2

Jaska Salakari winner no time/ Greger Johansson broke before the start. Johanssons bike pushed back. BYE RUN for Salakari who did not make a full pass

Roel Koedam slightly before Bengtsson from the line and leads all the way to take the win. ET 6.856 sec/324 km, Per Bengtsson 6.742 sec/314 km

UEM Top Fuel Bike eliminations round 2

Samu Kemppainen bye Run. Parts comes from the bike 50 meter out and Samu comes to a standstill at the track. No time but on to the final.

Petri Paljakka the bike moved slow from the start and continues the same way ET 10.57 sec/182 km is however good for a place in the final against Kemppainen / Jaska Salakari broke before the start and pushed back

FIA Top Fuel Dragster eliminations round 2

Antti Horto winner 4.732 sec /274 km / Håkan Fällström 13.43 sec/116 km. Looked like the burst panel went for Horto towards the finish, while Fällström blazed the tires early, off the throttle and cruised the track

Tommy Johnson Jr winner 4.224 sec/447 km / Timo Lehtimäki 4.850 sec/276 km. Clean nice run for Tommy , the nice burning exhaust flames indicating all cylindres were there. Lehtimäki shut off early

Final will be Antti Horto against Tommy. Lane choice for Tommy.

Kalle Lyrén winner 7.269 sec/294 km / Rasmus Olesen 9.698 sec/144 km. Kalle first from the line and stayed ahead all the way

Jesper Thiel winner 7.14 sec/295 km / Dave Beck redlight 7.43 sec/282 km

Lyrén vs Thiel in the final with Thiel having lane choice

Thomas Lindström winner 6.751 sec/328 km / Jan Palmqvist 6.877 sec/ 322 km. Clear win for Lindström who continues to convice

Jimmy Ålund winner 6.759 sec/327 km / Richard Sundblom 6.790 sec/327 km. Ålund off the line first and kept the distance all the way

Lindström has lane choice over Ålund in the final

Michael Gullqvist winner 6.068 sec/383 km / Jan Gunnarsson redlight 10.14 sec/138 km. Gullqvist great 60-foot 0.983.

Johan Lindberg 10.03 sec/135 km / Bruno Bader winner 7.296 sec/314 km. Shake for Lindberg while Bader was all over the track narrowly missed the center line which might have interfered with Lindberg's driving

Ulf Leanders winner 5.840 sec/391 km / Jonas Staflund 6.141 sec/370 km. Smooth straight line for Leanders while Staflund drifted mid track

Arvid Grødem winner 5.85 sec/391 km / Jarmo Kuutniemi 5.820 sec/392 km what a side by side race! Grødem´s quicker reaction time won him this round

Dave Beck winner 7.37 sec/285 km / Martin Bishop 7.48 sec/282. Beck drifted towards the centerline and out of the groove but won.

Semi-final will be Olesen vs Lyrén, Thiel vs Beck

UEM Supertwin eliminations round 1

Jaska Salakari winner 6.390 sec/341 km / Hans Olav Olstad 6.84 sec/324 km. What a run for Salakari! Olstad improving and good run did not do the job this time

Jan Sturla Hegré 9.20 sec/ 148 km bang for Hegré mid-track / Greger Johansson winner 7.12 sec/264 km. Johansson to the semi-final

Roel Koedam winner 6.817 sec/319 km / Lorenz Stäuble 7.07 sec/330 km. Stäuble 0.77 reaction time to Koedams 0.203 was not enough to take the win

Per Bengtsson winner 6.825 sec/326 km / Mark Ashelford 9.98 sec/329 km. Bengtsson had to work the bike but the win was clear at midtrack

UEM Top Fuel Bike eliminations round 1

Sverre Dahl no show / Samu Kemppainen no time. Kemppainen drifted towards the centerline and just narrowly missed the photo cells. No time shown for the run.

Timing system check and Paljakka who had started the engine was shut off

Jaska Salakari winner 6.86 sec/289 km / Petri Mattsson 7.33 sec/285 km

Petri Paljakka winner 19.99 sec/61.72 km / Ian King redlight shut off at the starting light. Don´t know what happened there really. Paljakka cruises and barely makes it to the finish line while King get a redlight and stays at the line..

Semi-final will be Kemppainen bye run, Salakari vs Paljakka

Timo Lehtimäki winner 4.382 sec/425 km / Jari Halinen 4.83 sec/303 km. Halinen blazing the tires pedaling but loosing time

Adam Flamholc winner 6.84 sec/242 km / Jari Parén 12.71 sec/106 km ball of fire from Paréns nitrous car

Michael Gullqvist winner 6.089 sec/381 km / Per Svedberg 11.05 sec/132 km tires shake for Svedberg. Gullqvist nice and straight, well done!

Jan Gunnarsson winner 6.25 sec/355 km / Urban Johansson 8.18 sec/183 km, Johansson drifted towards the centerline midtrack and shut off

Mikael Lindahl 6.22 sec/355 km / Johan Lindberg winner 6.13 sec/384 km nice side by side race, Lindberg drifted some midtrack but was quicker

Bruno Bader winner 6.23 sec/364 km/ Kristian Nyström 6.51 sec/294 km smoke came out of Nyströms car when passing 1000 foot and for the remainder of the run. The track is ok. Nice and straight run for Bader.

Mats Eriksson winner 6.34 sec / Linda Thun 10.64 sec/130 km. Eriksson straight run as most in the left lane
