Good morning and welcome from Mantorp Park for our coverage of the 2010 Veidec Festival, presented in association with American Car Imports.

The Webster Race Engineering/Nimbus Motorsport webcam is on-line and is broadcasting a view of the head of the pairing lanes updated once per minute. Our colleagues at Nitro.se are running a live webcast which you can view via the event index page.

Not very good news to start the day as rain came in overnight and it is currently still raining. The track crew are out with sweepers to keep surface water to a minimum so as soon as the rain stops they will be able to move on to drying. In England there is a saying "Rain by seven stops by eleven" and I can't think of any reason why that should not apply here in Sweden.

We have a couple of Hellos this morning. Firstly a big Hello to our good buddy Ivar Kolberg who is as ever tuned in from Norway. Hope you are well Ivar and sorry that the first thing you have had to read about is rain. Hello also to Tim Read of Krister Johansson's Top Methanol Dragster team who is tuned in from New York, thanks for writing Tim and hope all is OK with you.
