15:30

Pro Stock eliminations round 2

W. Jimmy Ålund 6,786/320
Magnus Hansson 6,949/321

Richard Sundblom spun and drifted hard to the left, try to correct it, crossed the center line and hit head on to the wall on the right side lane at 300 meters. The car kept rolling along the wall for about 100 meters. We just got word that Nixxon is OK. Michael Malmgren spun hard to the left and crossed the centerline just behind the Christmas tree.

Apperantly Nixxon tried to avoid Michael Malmgren crossing the centerline, and that was the start of the whole chain of events that, at the end, made him hit the wall. Nixxon and team are at the moment looking at fitting another body front from another race car to be able to run the final vs Jimmy Ålund.

15:15

Seems to be an appeal going in Top Methanol Dragster. Fred Hanssen has been disqualified since Will Hanna touched the car to turn on computer while in pre stage. The opponent have been told to come, but Fred and Will have written an appeal.

09:20

Good morning from a sunny, but a bit cold Alastaro. I like to thank everyone for kind words about our reports from FHRA Nitro Nationals. As we said previously, we are sorry for not being able to cover the great sportsman racing here. The explanation is very easy, I just can’t type as fast as Tog. I am doing this for the second time, and I just can’t understand how he can keep up doing the reports that we all have become used to.

We will start with 3 sportsman classes at 10:00, then Pro Modified 16 down to 8.
