Micke Lindahl took out Patrick Wikström in Pro Mod eliminations but was subsequently ousted by Marc Meihuizen. Per Erik Lindgren made it to the final of Comp Eliminator and was runner-up. Jari Halinen took out Tommi Haapanen in one of the bigger shocks in Top Fuel this morning. Krister Johansson's mean-sounding Top Methanol Dragster was a first round casualty. Top Methanol Dragster team Turner Motorsport are now carrying the name of new sponsor XTC energy drink. Paul Ingar Udtian's return from his accident on Friday was one of the comebacks of all time in Top Methanol Dragster or indeed any class. Eurodragster.com sponsor Dan Larsen's chutes deployed early in his first round Top Methanol FC race and Arvid Grødem passed him in the lights. Jonas Staflund was into the 5.9s during Top Methanol FC qualifying. Long smoky burnouts, perfect summer weather, it doesn't get much better than this. Jürgen Nagel made it to the second round of Top Methanol FC. Peter Schöfer got to the Top Methanol Dragster final but what we thought was just a burst blower panel was actually a lot of havoc wreaking itself inside the motor. Gunther Sohn had to shut off early in his first round Supertwin race against Svein Olav Rolfstad. Tony Åberg was runner-up in Super Street. There is a gap in the armco on what is a marshals' station on the circuit and this is what you see if you sneak a look through. Kenneth Söderström made a first round exit in Pro Stock. Pro Mods doing what Pro Mods do best. Christer Åberg went three rounds in Super Comp. Mats Eriksson and Lena Perés celebrate son Ludvig Perés' round win in Junior Dragster. Junior Dragster racer Niklas Andersson has taken Eurodragster.com Perfect Award money in the past. Johan Rehnström won the Eurodragster.com / Gold RV Perfect ET Award with a 9.9002 in Super Gas qualifying. Supertwin racers Lorenz Stäuble and Per Bengtsson generated a small earthquake in Race Control. Job Heezen (far lane) certainly doesn't look like a Supertwin rookie but Svein Olav Rolfstad showed him the benefit of experience. Marc Meihuizen set a new Personal Best of 6.180 in the second round of Pro Mod eliminations. Urs Erbacher's Top Fuel Dragster awaiting a clear track for the Top Fuel Dragster final. Andy Carter and the Lucas Oil / Andersen Racing team were on awesome form all weekend and took Europe's first ever 1000-foot Top Fuel eliminator. Björn Bondesson was another Stock/Superstock racer giving us what we like to see. Petri Nagy qualified top of Comp Eliminator and took the event win against Lars Åke Karlsson. Jonas Sundström was runner-up in Super Comp Bike. Marc Meihuizen burning out before the Pro Modified final... ...which was won by Robert Joosten. Jarmo Kuutniemi got out of the groove in round one of Top Methanol FC and had to get off the throttle. Urs Erbacher and Andy Carter took their cheers at the post-race presentation... ...and Andy made sure that his crew got their share of the plaudits. This ingenious guy got himself in free by boxing himself up and masquerading as a delivery of spare parts. With its small transport wheels, Dennis Habermann's Comp Eliminator dragster looks like a toy from this angle.
