The class is primarily US muscle cars.

Markus Oschner leads the Public Race +0.007 on index.

Cas Mosselaar is fifth in Super Gas no doubt aided by the shark on the bonnet.

Stefan Eisenhauer is one place above Cas with a 9.923.

Len Paget's Pro Stock Bike leads the Pro Bike category.

Tom Zellner's short-wheelbase Super Comp dragster is in fourth qualifying spot at the end of day one.

Martin Schlegel is third in Super Comp with his very tidy Cougar.

Just above Martin, in second place in Super Comp, is Lothar Feidt's Bantam altered.

Patricia Kaestner is fifth in Comp Eliminator with her Pro Stock-engined dragster. We understand that Patricia is destined for Pro Mod in a season or two.

Björn Lähndorf leads Comp Eliminator at a massive 0.921 under index.

Fourth in Comp Eliminator is Klaus Meier, 0.262 under index.

Eurodragster.com sponsor Marco Maurischat took to the track for the first time with his new Pro Mod 'Vette but was unable to start.

Torsten Kath is calling it a day after this race although efforts are being made to persuade him to contest Pro Mod at the FIA European Finals. Fellow nitrous Pro Mod racer Roger Johansson is providing tuning advice.

It's great to see Rolf Ammann back with his beautiful '38 Chevy Pro Mod.

Pro Mod racer Jürgen Schomann ran his first six-second pass at last week's Test and Tune here in Hockenheim.

Dave Wilson's injected-nitro Top Methanol Dragster launches relatively conservatively but then visibly picks up just past the Tree.

Timo Habermann is third in Top Methanol Dragster at his home event.

Peter Schöfer is flying the flag for Bavaria and has the current high speed.

It's also a home race for Top Methanol FC racer Jürgen Nagel and he is currently in fourth spot.

Jarmo Kuutniemi is fifth in Top Methanol FC after pedalling for shake.

Risto Poutiainen is now under the wing of Eagle Racing and is eighth in Top Fuel Dragster after shutting off at half track.

Tommi Haapanen is currently ninth in Top Fuel Dragster.

Andy Carter and the Andersens are looking unstoppable again, currently in line for their sixth straight #1 qualifier in Top Fuel Dragster and the first half of a European speed record to boot.

Bert Gorselitz usually runs this Porsche in Super Pro ET but is in Super Gas this weekend.

Kev Charman is third in the Pro Bike category with a 7.672.

Bernard Saz' is probably the only 1956 Citroen Traction raced anywhere on the planet, let alone in Super Comp.
